New Lockdown Special Edition: Ask the Person Below You a Question!

Q: What is your favourite thing about lockdown?

Sadly nothing. I hate everything about it. That said I totally agree with it and will follow the rules.

Q: The National Lottery advise that before you make any major decisions after a big win you should buy yourself something that you've always wanted but would never have dreamed of even trying to save up for. Could be serious or could be totally frivolous but it has to be for you. What would you buy?

A chef to cook me healthy food

Q. Which charity/charities would you give the bulk of your lottery win to ?

Homeless, Mental Health, smaller Animal Charities ( not the bomhemoths like RSPCA)

Keeping with the lottery theme: what property would you buy?

A house very similar to the 4 bed one we presently live in, but I’d choose one on a large parcel of land to share with wildlife, and a separate building that conformed to regulations so that I could take in stray and unwanted cats until they could be rehomed.

If you got the chance, would you - or have you ever done -
A skydive?

I’d want to but might worry that I’d lose control of my bladder at the very least !!

What has made you laugh recently?

This really made me laugh - Peter Kay’s autobiography written around 2006. I couldn’t put it down - so funny.

What craft project have you enjoyed making during lockdown?

Victoria Wood's comedy shows which were on TV over the Christmas period.

When do you think this current lockdown will end? I think 31st March when a quarter of the year is over. This is mainly a guess.

I made soft toys for my family - even though I am not really crafty.

What do you do or think to keep optimistic and lift your mood?

I have discovered polymer clay, and have been having enormous fun making jewellery with it. Some of it is actually quite nice

Q. What's the best piece of advice a much older woman ever gave you?

Ooh dear - I thought this might happen - two of us have now answered the previous question and asked the next question!!

It’s a bit like “pin the tail on the donkey” but I’ll guess 25th March - our wedding anniversary.

Whoops, sorry, Applegran - we posted at the same time! But my answer works for yours too, and the follower might like to do both questions?

Apart from scrubs and masks made earlier on, I enjoyed making Mrs Santa Claus and Elf Christmas aprons for the grandchildren's stockings.

I've been knitting cardigans for DGD's and have crocheted them each a blanket. My next project is a scarf with pom poms each.

If you could be anywhere in the World at this moment, where would you choose?

With my daughter 300 mils away.

Home, surrounded with my own things. Just OH & I. The less people we come in contact with the better for staying healthy.

Can’t remember when I last wrote a letter. Probably sometime before the telephone became common. 1 wouldn’t buy any jewellery I would rather do something more useful with the cash.

In December, I wrote a letter to put in a Christmas card for a friend.

I've got my daughter's Nintendo Wii,as she's now got a Nintendo Switch.I've been enjoying Wii fit,never done anything like this before,but it's good exercise,and helps cheer me up to.
