Lovely!

I can't eat baked beans with fried eggs.

I like eating . I like wine . But not together .

Fish fingers in a sandwich. Never tried it but don't fancy it.

GagaJo Thu 14-Jan-21 16:25:08

I love beans with toast. But not ON toast. Hate soggy toast.

The DGC love them and got me to try one.
It was ok but I won't be trying it again!

Now chip butties are lovely.
DH is horrified at the thought of a chip butty

GagaJo both my grandsons are the same.
I like tuna and I like sweetcorn but not together.

Mamardoit Thu 14-Jan-21 16:55:14

Mayonnaise in a sandwich filling. I don't mind it with a salad or as a dip.

It means I never buy ready made sandwiches.

I like cauliflower cheese but not with a roast dinner. Cheese sauce and gravy is not good.

V3ra Thu 14-Jan-21 17:16:32

It's bananas and custard for my husband. He likes both separately, but the thought of both together... ?

Quite agree! When did cauliflower cheese become a component of Sunday lunch, and even Xmas lunch! shock

Maggiemaybe Thu 14-Jan-21 17:30:37

I agree with you about pineapple on pizza, ugh! And I would say on gammon as well, but I haven’t seen that combination for about forty years.

I love a fishfinger sandwich though.

Lucretzia Thu 14-Jan-21 17:33:40

Chips and gravy.

Apparently very popular up north but I just couldn't do it. Can't even look at it!

sodapop Thu 14-Jan-21 17:39:54

Don't know what you are missing Lucretzia scrummy grin

I like beans on toast but don't like baked beans on the plate with a meal.

GagaJo Thu 14-Jan-21 17:41:01

Nooooo Lucretzia. Me neither. Although I do like curry sauce WITH chips but not on them. I have to dip rather than have them swamped.

EllanVannin Thu 14-Jan-21 17:46:07

I like cucumber and I like salmon----but not together.

EllanVannin Thu 14-Jan-21 17:46:47

Ewww, fishy cucumber.

merlotgran Thu 14-Jan-21 17:48:29

Tomatoes

Vodka

Hate Bloody Marys

honeyrose Thu 14-Jan-21 17:49:51

We often have jacket potatoes with grated cheese, baked beans and a large salad, sometimes with pickled beetroot on the side. DH and I love this, but a friend of mine was nearly sick when I told her of this combination. I don’t really like (and I may be unusual in this!) fish fingers and chips together - really lovely on their own, but too dry and samey when served together. They are even the same colour, which I find unappealing.

supergirlsnan Thu 14-Jan-21 17:51:15

I love sausages and mash but not together,

tidyskatemum Thu 14-Jan-21 18:01:29

Nowt wrong wi’ chips and gravy Lucrezia - but cheesy chips are much better!

LauraNorder Thu 14-Jan-21 18:12:30

With Sodapop on this, baked beans on toast but never with anything else.

Mollygo Thu 14-Jan-21 18:23:50

Like fish fingers in a bun as long they’re Young’s Gastro in tempura batter. Love cheese and tuna but not together. Never tried peanut butter and jelly. It just doesn’t appeal.

GagaJo Thu 14-Jan-21 18:37:44

In agreement with all of yours Mollygo.

My DD is half American and loved peanut butter and jam and I could never understand why.

farview Thu 14-Jan-21 18:49:54

Baked beans with egg....awful...

Witzend Thu 14-Jan-21 19:00:00

I don’t like eggs with anything tomato-ey.

Ditto cream with any pudding, but that’s because I really don’t like cream. I really wish I did like it, because the things always look so nice, and I hate having to tell a hostess who’s gone to the trouble of making 2 puddings, both slathered with cream, sorry, but I can’t eat either of them.

Quite a lot of people don’t like it, so I do wonder why it’s so often assumed that everybody does.
