No plans today apart from a bit of ironing. I can’t believe how quickly the weeks fly. Sunday again already.

Sorry you had a bad reaction yesterday Mick - could it have been stress about having the vaccination? Could be a middle ear problem if you are finding movement affects you?

A blank agenda again today here but things do keep turning up so I will not be surprised if that happens again.

Hope the day is a good one for us all, especially the troubled or suffering. Take it a day at a time or if that's too much, an hour at a time was the wise advice given by my Dad years ago now. Still good advice.

We watched the first ever episode of “Yes Minister”, last night. It was as funny and as apposite as ever.
Nothing on today apart from virtual church. Roast chi for dinner. We nor have roast vegetables m what do you have with a roast?

I’m sorry you felt unwell in the car, Mick - is it a while since you rode in one? Take it easy today and keep some paracetamol handy in case of any after effects from your vaccination.

Yesterday was another one of Spring sunshine which naturally brought out the crowds locally. Unfortunately, this seemed to make people more relaxed about masks and social distancing. The paper shop assistant told me she’d had a contretemps with a man refusing to wear as mask as he didn’t believe in the virus and claimed it was a government hoax! When she said he should wear it for the benefit of others as well as himself, he said he didn’t care if he died as, “I’m going to my Lord!”
Very Christian ....... not!

On a pleasanter note, I was amused and delighted to hear a child exclaim, “I’m sweating like the sunshine!”
His father told him it was “sweating like a pig!” but the child stuck with his original idea, for which I complimented him.

Off to church to play the piano again today. An opportunity to keep those in difficulties in my prayers, especially Georgesgran. ✝️??

Also glad you happy with the rugby result Pant. My father in law was a very good rugby player, neither of his boys were interested.

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s a blue sky with just some white wispy cloud. Yesterday was a beautiful mild sunny day and I really enjoyed the spring is in the air feeling ?
Pleased you got your jab yesterday mick but sorry you felt unwell, hopefully any side effects won’t trouble you too much.
A day pottering in the garden is planned, DH will be doing his favourite garden jobs of digging anything he can and I’ll be trying to get any weeds out before they get too settled in

Good morning from north Surrey, overcast here but more sunshine on the agenda.
Good to hear you got your vaccination Mick despite having “wobble”, sounds a bit like the symptoms you were describing before your hospital visit. If you find it happens again I think a call to the heart nurse might be appropriate.
Am feeling tired after my 2 shifts, busy and on my feet for long periods but just today and then some time out.
DH has been busy on the allotment. He harvested parsnips and swede and they are all now in the freezer. He is a new man with the arrival of spring (long may it last).
As others I expect Sheep is being kept busy in the maternity barn, miss her posts.

Morning Mike, morning All. A misty start to our corner of Somerset, sunshine promised again, hooray.

Far too much gardening yesterday, loved every minute but it seems my body is saying enough. . Mr C managed to cut and scrape the back of his hand quite badly, how I wish he’d learn to be more careful. A walk to loosen up and some admin I think before a call to a friend, it’s the anniversary of her husbands death today and I know she will welcome the chance to talk with someone who cared about him. Roast beef later as requested by Mr C.

Oh dear mick, yesterday sounds to have been difficult for you, a good outcome with the vaccination but perhaps worth a chat with a nurse or your GP tomorrow. Thinking of georgesgran and all with sadness and worry.

Had a gentle walk by the river yesterday and ate our lunch in the garden !

Perhaps a word with your GP may be in order, in case you have another dizzy spell, when you are out and about. We do worry about you.

I hope to potter in the garden today, all being well. DH is dreadful for not clearing up properly after working in the garden. There were still branches lying yesterday, from when he cut the trees. ? I could feel my BP rising, when I saw the mess, its a struggle for me to do physical activities! Despite all the new meds, my RA has flared up, I think I may have to go back to wearing splints. ☹ However, I want to be able to enjoy the garden and mess irritates me. Its quite disheartening, as I used to do all the gardening, but am no longer fit.

I have bought a set of fairy doors for DH to put on our trees, and am now looking for tasteful toadstools ? and fairies?‍♀️ to make the garden magical for Dollie. She loves the nooks and crannies in our garden.

Good morning all and as Sar And Pitt say, it’s a foggy morning here in Essex. Glorious day yesterday but got a bit chilly in the afternoon. Yes it is still February!

Met our new neighbour who backs on to us. Well he and his wife have been there since August and this was the first time we’ve met. A lovely young man who told me all about themselves and gave me his mobile number in case we ever need anything. How kind!

Roast chicken and lemon cheesecake today. My favourite.

A walk with little pooch and a read of the papers . I’m crocheting again and enjoying it. Little squares with a raised flowers. Goodness know what it will become.

Fog is beginning to clear. Eldest AC’s birthday today they were out to dinner with their friends last night (8) in one of our favourite restaurants (they are living in Kenya) the family WhatsApp was very busy! So strange seeing people out in groups enjoying themselves!

Orlin is planning to mow the grass and I’ll attempt to tidy the borders.
Hoping it’ll be warm enough this week for the builders to finish the lime render around the window reveals, so that we can finally remove the blue plastic protection from the windows. I’m heartily sick of all the ground floor rooms looking blue and of not being able to see the lovely views which I know are there.
I’ll be happier too, when they remove their big portaloo from our front garden which has been there since July.
Off downstairs to scramble some eggs for breakfast.

“Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day!” ? ? ... Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s a bit frosty but the already warm sunshine will sort that out.

I slept in an extra hour or so, Himself has already peeled the veg for Sunday dinner! No wonder I married him dear Reader. It’s roast lamb today and my stepfather will be joining us as per.
?

Himself is expecting a call from the boy wonder asking for another bike ride. They went racing in the park yesterday - I don’t know which of them had the most fun but I do know that it was grandad who needed two paracetamol afterwards!

Our new GHIC cards arrived in the post yesterday. We just need those flights to Ibiza now that Himself booked for the last day in May! Getting a bit excited now and if we can’t go then we will get a refund for the flight & hotel anyway so it’s a win-win either way.

Hope Sunday is kind to us all. Bet you’re glad to be on the right side of your jab Mick but I dare say that funny episode will have knocked your confidence a bit. I’d ring the practice nurse tomorrow to be sensible. Keep safe everyone that’s the main thing. x

P.s. I thought gillybob was going to come back? If you are reading this dear lady you are very much missed. Thoughts today with Georgesgran somehow the sun shining seems a travesty for some at times like this. xx

Good morning all from a crisp and sunny morning in North Leicestershire.

Glad you got your jab Mick but please do take it easy and try to stay in as much as possible for the 3 weeks until it is starting to be effective. Did anyone at the GP pass any comment about you feeling so unwell?

Video call for us with DD2 and her girls and one of our favourite sons in law. We treated them to a Cote meal last night and make it yourself pizza kits for the girls.

Then pork steaks topped with cheese, bacon and onions in a marsala jus for lunch and an afternoon with the papers.

We have a painter coming to give a quote this morning and there is gardening to be done.

Mick you have mentioned this “I felt like I was going to black out” several times, right back to when you went on your bus trips. Are you worried by being outside and with people after all this time? It really is time to make an appointment and speak to your doctor.

Good morning from the Scottish Borders. Cloudy and dull but yesterday was warm sunshine. I had a treat. I drove to my DS and we walked, with DGC and dog, down to the seashore where people were actually bathing. Back to theirs for lunch. It was the first time I had been there since before Christmas.
Nothing much today apart from a little gardening and my knitting.
