Good morning Mick and all to come. It’s another nice day in Malta.

Yesterday after cleaning out the cupboard under the sink ( what a job!) and washing the floors, DD3 picked me up and we went to sit by the sea with the puppy. It was very pleasant and DD3 had made sandwiches and coffee so a nice surprise since we can’t go to cafes and restaurants.

Watched some tennis in the afternoon thanks to NanKate reminding me.?

grandMattie, I know your lovely town quite well. DH and I used to go often when we were staying with my late sister in Broadstairs. We loved it there.

Good morning all from a cold but beautiful morning here in Germany . My plans for today ? My daughter is coming round for lunch so I’m busy cooking this morning .It breaks up the boring Sunday. Enjoy your day everybody and there is light at the end of the tunnel .

Morning all, busy, busy, frantically busy! I haven’t posted for 10 days or so as it’s been constant action in the lambing shed and I’ve not had more than 4 hours sleep in every 24 hours - I feel broken! Weighed myself last night and I’ve lost 1/2 stone in 10 days and I’m a skinny ribs to start with. I’ve desperately missed having a night-lamber to give me the odd night off but Covid scuppered that as my night worker is shielding. On a positive note, we’re nearly finished with only 15 left to go - I will survive! ??. This little chap spent the night in front of the aga last night after going hyperthermic - his temperature wouldn’t even register on the thermometer so less than 32 degrees. It took a hot water bottle, a hair dryer and the Aga to get him back to normal but this morning he’s on the mend. I have haven’t had a chance to catch up on all the Good Morninger’s news but as things get easier here, I’ll look forward to getting back up to speed with you all. Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It’s dry, frosty and cold.

I spent a few hours in the garden yesterday and was very pleased with my progress. I came indoors to have cheese on toast which I had been fancying for a couple of days.

Today I shall write some letters and maybe sort out the bills for the coming year and have a general potter about.

Logically I should still be asleep after an enjoyable but tiring afternoon and evening. Never was logical . Quiet day planned here. A tidy of the dumping ground that is our spare bedroom, a short walk and that’s about all other than cooking a paella.

Been wondering how life with the labs has been sheepandcattle, I would think exhausted doesn’t really cover how you feel. That lamb is a survivor, what a sweet little one.. Thanks for taking the time to update us. Hope you get a much deserved rest very soon.

Good morning from Essex by the sea where it is cold with frost on the cars.
I woke in the night feeling very unwell so a relaxing day for me, what other kind is there !!
Glad the lambing is nearly over Sheep, you must be exhausted. The little one on the chair looks very cosy.
DH is going to paint the ceiling and walls in the en-suite and I'm going to prepare a casserole for dinner.
My eldest daughter said that she tried her 5 year old's school shoes on yesterday, they were too small, only worn for one term, and cost £50 ??. Obviously shoe shops not open so granddaughter will have to wear black ankle boots tomorrow. I'm sure there must be many more children who's feet have grown.

Suffolk is grey again but dry. It was cold yesterday so I hope today’s a bit better.
Sis I L’s birthday today so there will be a family zoom tonight with a glass of something. It’s a good excuse to put my face on.
We continued to make up photograph albums for members of the family yesterday. Enjoyable but still a way to go.
I hope the day is kind to everyone.

A very late (for me) good morning from a light E Kent. It will be gloomy and cold as a Max of 4C I’d forecast.
Another nothing day, virtual church.
The DGDs Skyped yesterday afternoon, full of chatter. Iris didn’t look well, she’s not sleeping well and her mum says she’s very anxious about going back to school on Monday as no one has seen her cage yet. She is a terrible worrier. DD says she should be ok as they will be in class bubbles, eat and play separately so no chance of being bumped or bullied.
Glad to see you posting sheep, lovely little lamb, quite the symbol of spring!

Good morning to those who are awake and the ones to follow. from a distinctly chilly Torbay after overnight frost.

Yesterday was sunny but with a pernicious wind, unconducive to going beyond local shops. However I did spend time trying to clean off the calling cards deposited on my car by the gulls! Much as I love living here, this is one aspect I do not like. Unfortunately, a few have a nest on the chimney top of the house next door, which puts parked cars directly beneath their flight path!

Inevitably, passersby chatted, including neighbours and others which was enjoyable but delayed progress and meant I was glad to return to the warmth of my flat. After that a Zoom with DD2 and family was heartwarming. DGS (aged 10) has recently had his high school place confirmed and is excited to discover that friends from his current and previous schools will be there besides some of his football team, which will be reassuring. DGD (8) demonstrated headstands and handstands, recently mastered at acrodance.

Lovely to see that darling lamb, sheepandcattle and good luck to Iris and all our young ones as they return to school.

Wishing you all a peaceful day of rest. Mine will follow the usual routine of being accompanist at church at 9.30 then catching up with friends by phone. ?✝️?

Good morning from a cold, dry north Surrey where the temperature according to my car is 3C. Good to catch up with a very busy Sheepandcattle, thanks for checking in.
Short drive to DD’s to look after the boys until their dad arrives to take over, she is working a day shift.
Yesterday had my 2nd vaccination, sore arm which I couldn’t sleep on so an unsettled night but no other side effects. Had to go Mitcham which is an outer suburb of London, it is a highly populated area. The journey off the main road at Wimbledon to Mitcham was so buy with traffic. I was shocked, just where was everyone driving to on a lockdown Saturday afternoon?!
This morning I will do an online Pilates session before the boys get up and then games with them.
We have roast chicken for dinner but otherwise no plans.
Thoughts to those GNs who are grieving and with illness.

Good morning all from sunny HARROGATE. We have to take the dog back to the vet this am. Yesterday the vet gave us omaprazole for her which, of course, she spat out.
It will be virtual church when we get back (and coffee). Then baking if there’s time. Can see I shan’t have

Good morning mick and all from Inverness, it’s dry and cloudy and I think a bit of light rain is on the way later
Yesterday we enjoyed a walk but today I’ve a few jobs to do. DD2 has been having a sort out of children’s toys and bits and bobs and has asked me to help her sell some of the good stuff that she dropped off yesterday. Our spare room looks a bit like a toy shop so lots to keep me busy for a while
Goodness sheep you must be so exhausted - you little buddy looks cosy, hope he’s warm enough from now on.
I imagine you’re right about the school shoes sar there must be so many that are outgrown now, expensive to replace though and frustrating
Hope brave Iris settles back into school ok grandmattie hopefully once the first day is over she’ll feel a bit better.

Sorry to hear Iris is feeling anxious about school. I’m sure she’ll be fine once she’s there seeing her pals. Our GC have all outgrown uniforms. The girls have got shapelier and the boys have grown into men. Only smallest Gd hasn’t grown much. She’s a tiny tot.
Had a day full of chat yesterday. Long phone calls with friends and family. Lovely but quite ‘exhausting.’
sheep you know the meaning of exhausted. You’ve had a rough few weeks! Hopefully nearing a more normal workload. Lovely and lucky little lamb.

Good morning all from a cloudy, cold North Leicestershire.

Not much on the agenda today - roast chicken for lunch, someone is coming to collect the Georgian corner cupboard that DH has sold on Ebay. It was his parent's pride and joy but we have struggled to get any money for it.

We had a surprise visit from DD3 and family yesterday but it was so cold standing in the front garden talking to them.

Glad you caught up with the tennis Bellasnana. I am hoping Rublev wins in the Final today. He is a very pleasant young man when interviewed. I must admit the colour of his sportswear is dire. A yucky brown.

Sorry to hear that Iris is anxious about tomorrow grandMattie. I suspect a lot of children will be rather nervous. Hopefully when she sees her friends and teacher she will settle in.

Our DD had to buy our five year old granddaughter new uniform as she had outgrown everything.She got it online from m and s.She bought school shoes from the supermarket which have lasted a week ?not sure what shoes she will wear tomorrow?

I am sorry Iris is feeling anxious.I am sure after her first day she will feel better.????

Not sure what we will do today.Hopefully if it brightens up DH will be out in the garden and I will sit in the conservatory reading.Its so lovely in there when the suns shining, my favourite room in the house.

Good Morning all from East Staffordshire where it feels mild out.
I didn’t wake until 7.30 which is so unusual for me.
Had the best two days with DGS but my god he wears me out. He walked over 2 miles up hills, steps and trees! He isn’t two until May? we made cakes, we cleaned the piggies out. I am getting a cover for my pond today as he has started throwing anything and everything in it!!!
So pleased to hear the lambing is going well sheep you must be exhausted, I am tired just reading about it.
Mick. DH was getting excited about the quality of the lead bunch in some one day event yesterday, I do have to pretend I am just as in awe of these people?
Great to hear we have second jabs happening. Life will be back to normal soon, I am expecting an e Mail from church about when they will let us in and when Sunday School will be opening, fingers crossed it won’t be long. DD and I had wonderful ideas of taking DGS to church but he has only been twice in his short life so far!!

Morning, may I join in please? I’ve read your posts each morning for a while and love to hear all the news. It may take me a while to remember everyone, especially at my age! I’m in the rather grey looking East Midlands, where, if the weather permits, we are hoping to have an attempt at de-mossing our lawn, a twice yearly task which is slowly succeeding. The scarifier produces satisfying heaps of moss seemingly from nowhere!
Love the lamb, Sheep, you must be exhausted! I’m surprised you have the strength to type.
