The thin end of the wedge. Once you start throwing any section of the populace onto the political scrapheap for any reason, where does it stop?
No women in politics for a week a month, because their hormones could affect their clear thinking.
No deaf or blind people, they might miss a nuance of the arguments by not seeing the expressions on a face or hearingtrhe intonations of a voice.
No-one with any chronic illness or impairment, in case they have a flare-up and have to skip a session or two (or even drop dead! Perhaps an annual doctor's certificate should be required of every MP, certifying that they will survive for another twelve months?)
What have we come to? The most "uncivilised" communities around the world have the sense to value experience and ability in those who lead them.
