Good morning from a grey E Kent. Got the heating on as it’s still very nippy!
TDF sound interesting, Mick.
Our real ease in July, sound hopeful for you and olddudders, Ash. Fingers crossed ? for both of you.
Attacking my overwintered geraniums and matching begonias. The geraniums are absolutely covered in buds. This is my first year having them...
Laundry today, the folding and ironing. Cold gammon and fancy salads tonight.
Hope today bring happiness and relief to all GraMmingos. ???☀️?

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It’s bright and sunny here too Mick. I think we’ll have a lovely day.

I’ll do bed changing and washing then I’ve a small painting job to do and after that get out into the garden and enjoy whatever I do there. I’ll finish up with a FaceTime with Beechnutella.

Have a lovely day all ??

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny Torbay

Looking back through Good Morning, Tuesday’s posts and enjoying the photos, grandMattie and NannyJan53. I’m glad you enjoyed the production of Romeo and Juliet, MawBe, and you must have felt very proud of your daughter’s contribution to its success.

It’s good to read that your DGD's Covid test was negative, Sar53, and glad to read that Dollie's was, too, Marydoll. My brain was too slow to appreciate your wives of Windsor quip yesterday, NanKate but it clicked this morning. Very good! ?

Welcome to MaggieTulliver and Alfie! What a beautiful photo, Grammaretto! I hope your DH's appointment was fruitful, harrigran.

Today I’m taking my friend, who has had a knee replacement, shopping as we didn’t go on Sunday as planned. Afterwards we hope to join the Toads Theatre Company Wednesday Club for our first real meeting since last summer! We shall take garden chairs and sit outside. About half of us have met weekly on Zoom so it it will be good to catch up with the others. Sadly, olddudders (DH) will miss out but, yes, grandMattie, I hope the easement next month will enable us to travel. It rather depends on insurance and testing costs.

I hope you all have the best of days, be it sunny or not. ???

Morning Mick, morning All. A clear if chilly start to our corner of Somerset. A friend is moving today, I’m pleased she has a dry day, it will help.

All tasks accomplished yesterday we’re off for a beach stroll and a coffee in a newly opened beach front cafe, well, it’s necessary to try new things smile. Then I hope to bring home a fountain long coveted for the garden. Hope there’s one in stock or there will be a very long face. Grocery delivery late afternoon and that will be our day.

Enjoy what you can today everyone, hope Wednesday is kind to us all.

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny ? Northampton. Hairdresser this morning, then nothing much planned for the rest of the day. Reading and knitting will fill the hours I expect. May cut the front grass.

Had a good walk yesterday with a good turn-out; 12 of us this week. Some of us finished by sitting outside a local cafe for coffee and cakes, but there was a chill wind, so was glad I'd taken a jacket.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Michael and all GNs from a blue sky South Yorkshire. I have absolutely no idea what we’re going to be doing today but to start with there is dust that needs shifting and floors that need washing. Then maybe a walk. I have a new phone. I didn’t know I needed a new phone but DH obviously did because while I was buying a birthday present for my DiL yesterday, he was in the phone shop sorting it out! Not sure I like it yet though. Time will tell. Have a good day, one and all.

brook2704 Wed 23-Jun-21 07:05:33

Good morning mick and all from Cambridge where it’s a bright sunny start to the day.
After a lovely few days here at DD1 house I’m travelling home today to Inverness, I’m on the Luton to Inverness flight and DH will pick me up at the airport when I arrive. I’ll be pleased to see him and find out what he’s been up to!
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Good morning from a sunny north Surrey. So good to see the sunshine back.

Sorry to read yesterday that Cherry is not coming back to us. If you are reading Cherry I wish you well, we will/do miss you

Felling a bit perkier after a couple of good nights sleep. Got a gym session in yesterday and popped to see DD for a natter with no no boys around to interrupt.

I did watch most of the football last night but I always find England games hard to watch (don’t really know why as I am not overly bothered by the score).

This morning I have PT followed by the gym for a cardio session.

We are booked for Polesden Lacey, National Trust with big park, so will get a good long walk with picnic. Will pop in to mum and dad on the way home.

Boys will be here this evening for their usual 2 night sleepover.
Need to get up a strip the bed so that can get out in the line.

Wishing all a good Wednesday

A sunny good morning from south Cornwall where I will spend the day restoring my flat to pre-op mode. I started last night and it's lovely to see all my art stuff emerge. I can only do it in 10 minute bouts but at least I feel I'm meeting my old self again.

More cafes/pubs have closed in my town due to Covid, including my lovely neighbour's. She is desolate and wearied by the constant two steps forward, one step back. I left a box of chocolates on her mat (we share a landing and she is self-isolating).

More birds flew in yesterday, but I'm all knitted out now. Needles down for a while. The pattern book is attached.

Have the best day you can everyone. I'm aware there are serious challenges for some of you and while I whitter on about knitting and art I also think, and care, about you.

Good morning from a dry Morecambe Bay. Sorry to here about Cherry when I caught up last night. I wish her well.
I’m off to clean for DS2 today. Not a job I look forward to but one I do every so often. Being autistic he just doesn’t see some things are important!
It’s good for my peace of mind if he’s not bothered. Stay safe everyone and take care ?

dragonfly46 Wed 23-Jun-21 07:22:59

Good morning from sunny Leicestershire.

Blood test for DH this morning so coffee in town afterwards.
This afternoon a walk with a friend. She lost her husband a couple of months ago and last weekend his brother died. It is so sad.

Your flowers are lovely GrandMattie mine don’t seem to want to flower!

Sorry to hear Cherry is leaving us.
Wishing everyone a good day.

NanKate Wed 23-Jun-21 07:31:18

Good morning Mick and All.

A beautiful sunny day in South Bucks.

Will text our DS shortly to wish him a happy 47 Birthday.

Glad my joke yesterday was appreciated Ash. ?

So pleased your life is returning to your pre-op state Alizarin. Love the photos.

Going to out favourite Italian cafe for lunch and a glass of Vino today.

NannyJan53 Wed 23-Jun-21 07:36:26

Good morning from a bright and sunny Black Country. Just back from filling up the car with petrol. I always do it early when it is quiet.

DS and DIL bought Mum a voucher for afternoon tea for two for her birthday in January in a lovely Hotel. So we are going this afternoon, and DS and DIL are joining us, so looking forward to that. It will be odd to be with them with no children around.

Looks like it will be warm today, so I can wear my new summer dress!

Wishing Cherry well and hope she will be able to join us again one day.

Hopefully you can get over to France soon Ashcombe. I am sure you are both eagerly awaiting that. We have flights booked to Portugal late September, but I am still in two minds about going.

Wishing you all a lovely day

NannyJan53 Wed 23-Jun-21 07:37:51

Happy birthday to your DS cupcake NanKate! Mine will be 46 later this year, how time flies.

Nannytopsy Wed 23-Jun-21 07:39:15

Good morning Mick and all his followers. It’s sunny in Suffolk - it seems ages since I could put that! We have check ups at the dentist this morning then we are off to a socially distanced picnic for three of DH’s ex colleagues who are retiring. We shall be a few miles south of Kitty & Dragonfly. It’s quite a journey for a short event but we are looking forward to seeing old friends and feeling more normal.
Sorry to say goodbye to Cherry but it was good of her to let us know. I worry when people just disappear.
I hope the day is kind to everyone.

Grandmabatty Wed 23-Jun-21 07:40:48

Good morning all. Polmont is grey today and a big change from yesterday which was glorious. I,too, am sorry to hear that Cherry has left. Alizarin I love the knitted birds. Brooke safe journey home. Beautiful flowers Grandmattie.
Yesterday was a quiet day playing with dgs in the garden. He helped me water the plants in the morning and was trying so hard to be helpful. It was really sweet. He has his own watering can but he wanted to use a big one so needless to say, there was more water on him. All fun though.
Today I will visit mum then go to my art class. I'm going to a friend's house for tea later so I'll nip into Aldi for a bunch of flowers. Have a good day all.

harrigran Wed 23-Jun-21 07:43:06

Good morning from a dry but not yet sunny NE.
DH went off at 10am yesterday for his appointment with the oncologist. He was found to have a temperature and a very high pulse rate so he was sent to A&E where he remained until 7pm.
Apparently it was the dental abscess that they wouldn't treat two weeks ago because " we don't treat facial conditions here "
Well yes they do because after the oncologist rang and told them exactly what was going to happen, the maxillofacial team attended. DH had abscess lanced and the offending tooth extracted whilst on IV drip with antibiotics. He brought the tooth home to show me, a one that had been screwed into the jaw bone and that is where the infection got in.
I spent the day washing and ironing, it was a great drying day but was absolutely shattered last night. I was in bed and asleep at 10pm.
Sainsbury's delivery this morning, can't remember what I ordered so there will be some surprises.
Take care.

Susan56 Wed 23-Jun-21 07:54:21

Good morning from sunny Shropshire.

We had a very quiet day in Stafford yesterday as after an initial burst of energy DGS wasn’t well.DD had thought it was hay fever but not really sure.He had a nap which is normally not allowed and just wanted to be cuddled all day which was lovely but sad to see him so lethargic.

Today I have a hospital appointment and then the supermarket shop. What a treat of a day?

Hope the fountain is in stock corner??

Sorry to hear about your friends cafe Alizarin.

Thinking of all our missing posters, all taking a break, all unwell and all with worries.

Have the best day you can??

Elizabeth1 Wed 23-Jun-21 07:54:59

Good morning everyone from another beautiful sunny day on the east coast of Fife that’s himself and our lovely new neighbour shifted the furniture around yesterday to help make my home look more of what it used to look pre stroke. I’m well pleased with the look now. This morning I have a zoom party invitation with a party hat and streamers at the ready. I had a good day yesterday except for the evening footy which sent himself into a frenzy of excitement and depression here’s hoping his four hours to himself today bodes well for his mental health ?️‍♀️Thank you bridie54 for meeting up for lunch with me and my dh yesterday it’s a lovely feeling meeting new friends.

Grammaretto Wed 23-Jun-21 07:56:41

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Dull and cold so far. The country seems to be in mourning after the football or at least the pub across the road is.
I am hoping for a nice day on Saturday as I have offered my garden for a party. Tables, chairs and gazebos arrive this week and I have said I will have tablecloths somewhere. Why did I say that? It is a thankyou to the community volunteers.

Sorry to hear so many GM's have health worries on top of everything else. May today bring sunshine and joy and summer dresses like NannyJan!

GrannyGravy13 Wed 23-Jun-21 07:59:40

Morning Mick and all

All go here as GS(6) has archery at 8am at school (he sleeps over Tuesday) . Cleaners are here this morning, then I am off to the gym.

Afterwards I need to take back a jacket to Next and pick up a click & collect from M & S which is nextdoor to Next.

The sun is out, so hopefully I will get time to potter in the garden this afternoon.

Sorry to hear Cherry will no longer be posting, if you are reading we shall miss you.

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Lins1066 Wed 23-Jun-21 08:03:09

Good morning from a quite sunny S Welsh coast.
I'm very sorry to read that Cherry is leaving us, I will miss her very much.
harri so good to hear that your DH's painful tooth was sorted out, good that the oncologist was on the ball.
Have a good day everyone.

Alizarin Wed 23-Jun-21 08:04:07
