Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where its 5°C.
GM, surely you should have been informed of the check, prior to buying the property?
So stressful for you to be told at the last minute. However, I can understand the reason for it.
I have to be up and about early today, because I have a Diocesan Safeguarding training course this morning. I was offered an exemption, due to having being unwell, but I really want to keep up to date with all of the recent Disclosure Scotland changes.
An old school friend will be there, her sister, whose husband is a friend of mine, is dying, so I want to see her.
Unfortunately Babydoll, is not for turning! He /he is now lying transverse. I was so anxious, as DIL's appointment was at 9am, but I heard nothing all day, until 7pm.
The nurses said they had never seen such a chilled baby, its heartbeat hardly changed during the procedure.
It turned out that there were lots of emergencies, including one poor woman, who had been rushed down from Oban, consequently DIL was at the end of the queue.
Not a journey I would like to endure, while in labour.
Yesterday's visit to Silverburn turned out to be very interesting.
I felt myself being grabbed in M&S food Hall and enfolded in a big hug. It was DD's friend of 35 years. He and she teamed up at nursery and everyone thought they would eventually marry. He is a lovely young man, whom I am very fond of.
Then I met a lady from church, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, only when her daughter's friend noticed a bleeding melanoma, which she had ignored.
Unfortunately the cancer has spread. It was good to catch up with her, despite her sad news.
It went downhill after that. I had a "random" trolley search in both M&S and Tesco! 😱
It also happened to me on Tuesday in Sainsbury's. I am anxious enough, when out, without this.
I have come to the conclusion that I am on a Most Wanted list somewhere!
I only managed those two shops, but was away so long that DH had finished his round of golf and was concerned at my lengthy absence, I have become like a rusty machine, so slow.
LFL, as a student, I travelled through Germany by train, with the railway following the River Danube, the views were stunning. Enjoy your cruise.
I wish you all the best of days and special thoughts for the poorlies and those with worries.
