I usually put on between 5 - 7 over the Christmas period (a week or so before Christmas and a week after) I get back to plan (Slimming World) the first week of the New Year. Just wondering how much others put on over this period?

I've not gained but am guilty of setting vegetables aside to make room for more cheeses and breads this holiday season ..

I don't know, but I was pretty fat before Christmas, and I feel quite a bit fatter now. blush

I’ve had a tummy bug so I’ve lost a couple of pounds. No Christmas dinners for me or NYD treats this time around.

5 pounds here, but back to my usual food tomorrow and it'll drop off. Hopefully taking another stone with it. grin

Gained one pound, pleasantly surprised.

Much to my amazement I've only put on 2lbs. shock

All diet rules were ignored over the festive period so I regard it as my own Christmas Miracle. grin

When 'Christmas' was just a couple of days with family, I found it no big deal weight-wise.

Since my dad died and my mum comes to us for both Christmas and the new year, I find it much harder.
DH and I have to change our meals to what my mum wants to eat, and also, I can't skip breakfast without a lecture, even though that is my usual way of controlling over-eating. Some days, I have even resorted to getting up earlier than my mum and sprinkling crumbs on a plate to make her think that I have already eaten, just to avoid that lecture!

Last year, it was several months before I could shed those few extra pounds, but this year I have been particularly devious and haven't gained more than a pound or so.

I am feeling like an awkward teenager again!

Don't really know but I feel as if I have gained weight.. I should have with all the food I have eaten
As the weather improves I will lose it again as more active outdoors

Gained 2lbs but will lose it when I am over this blasted virus (4 weeks now) and become more active.
