Fairy or Star? Or something else?

I've always had a star.
In my childhood we had a succession of Angel's made by us children.
My lovely old silver shiny star has finally broken and cant be repaired.
I cant find a direct replacement. Lots of stars but for standing or hanging little ones.
Maybe I'll get some ideas from this thread and try a new idea?

I always use a star as I believe that it represents the star of Bethlehem.

For me, it’s all about the pagan tradition. Nothing to do with Christianity.
It’s about bringing nature into your home.
This year I dallied with the idea of a fake tree, but I’m getting a potted Nordman for the first time in two years.
My owl will be on top of my real tree ?

A fairy.
She's very old but has had one new dress and new wings over the years.

She's probably a bit too heavy for a smaller tree as she leans to one side or forwards, drunkenly. Or it might be because she's been at the sherry, left out for Father Christmas,

She just told me that she's an angel , bringing good tidings, not a fairy.

Similar here, Calistemon. I'm not sure whether she's an angel or a fairy, but she does have wings and a pronounced drunken lean. And a red velvet dress. She came from the faraway Land of Wilko.

Ours used to be a Sindy (original version), transmogrified by an aunt who used to rescue them from jumble sales and turn them into fairies/angels.

She is getting on a bit now.

We used to have big star but then we bought a smaller tree and it was too big for it, so now we've got a grinch that goes on the top

Always the ‘tarty’ fairy. Made many eons ago from a daughters toy doll with crepe paper, tinsel and glitter and bits off a broken pearl necklace and so called because she has no knickers on.
