Who on earth wants to win a year's supply of frozen yoghurt ?

How sick would you and your dog (I live alone) get eating of this stuff every week? I visit the US regularly and love the varieties they offer (coffee and pecan are yummy) so why can't our suppliers give us tubs of these flavours? I don't want a copy of an ice cream dessert. Give me a tasty low-calorie alternative to ice cream, please!

Asda do assorted flavoured little iced lollies made from yoghurt and fruit sorbet. They contain only 45 calories, so when I get 'the munchies' I eat one without the guilt.
I can think of better competition prizes than a year's supply, and there is never any space in my fridge freezer!

How do you manage to leave the rest of them in there though Shysal?

It isn't actually a freezer full of the stuff though, it's a card to use at the outlets smile

Maybe we should suggest to GN the kind of things we would like to win?
A year's supply of delicious zero calorie dark chocolate maybe?

Gin

Have you looked at the pictures?!!! I'll have'em!

Oh! That's such a swizz! You can only get one free yogurt per visit. So I'd have to make the 40 quid train journey to London each time I wanted a yogurt. hmm

A lovely bouquet from inter flora, every fortnight. No calories in that at all.

They look great - I wouldn't say no to a freezer full, if it had been an option.

My sister won a year's supply of Oxo cubes once. Actually more like a lifetime's supply, delivered in a box that looked as though it could have contained a 1980s telly. Which is why her heart nearly gave out as the delivery man dropped it on the way up the drive, then tripped and fell on top of it.

Stansgran oh yes!

Yuk for calorie free dark chocolate. 're the OP - either don't enter this one, or if you do and you win, give it all away! This kind of reminds me of a comedian I heard recently with a routine of his daughter wrinkling her nose at bubble gum flavoured medicine: "Are you KIDDING me? This is MEDICINE, which has to be flavoured so that spoilt kids like you would take it."

I entered the comp for the yogs before I read the blurb. If I wasto win it would be of no useto me. Can I'm not sure it'$ 't make a long expensive journey for one pot of yogurt!

I think it's a bit unfair to have comps that only a few could take up if they won. hmm

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 10:22:59

K Fire mangled that post. Should be : I can't make a long expensive journey...

Grannyknot Sat 29-Jun-13 12:41:15

Now that I've read the t's and c' s I agree bit restrictive - if I entered, and I won, I wouldn't be able to share the win. :P

There are/have been a few competitions that can only be of any benefit if you live in or around London.

matson Sat 29-Jun-13 14:59:11

can you unenter!, not travelling 500 miles for a yoghurt, must read the small print in future x

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 15:23:19

That's what I was wondering - about un-entering. grin

matson Sat 29-Jun-13 15:29:22

As grannies, could competition people be slightly more inventive with prizes? At our age we need a treatwink like , weekend with brad pitt, years supply of cadburys chocolate, facelifts, new dentures etcx

Bez Sat 29-Jun-13 15:30:46

There is one of these places in Cardiff (in St David's 2) - it is delicious stuff!

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 15:31:02

grin

I would n' t know what to do with Brad Pitt.

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 15:32:53

No chance Bez. Southeast England only.

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 15:33:41

I think we should rise up and complain. About London-centric comps.

matson Sat 29-Jun-13 15:34:04

Me neither JO8 but it would pass the time trying, I,m up for it, ask GN bosses they listen to yousmile

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 15:34:41
