Boris is not a medical or health professional and is prepared to step back and let them lead. They are doing what they can to keep matters under control and are relying on people behaving in a responsible and sensible manner. Not a lot to ask as our own safety is at stake surely?

He says avoid pubs, cafes theatres but they will stay open. He says self isolate for 14 days but remember children don't get this very badly, so how many parents will send children to school with it?
