I just thought I would post this because I have read that vitamin d- one tablet a day helps against respiratory infections. You only have to take one little tablet with food and you must take it even in the summer. This doctor was saying that it’s not pseudoscience it’s backed by information from Nice where they’ve done studies to show that it really helps.

I was told i had very low vit D last summer which I don't quite understand as i eat a varied diet and last summer spent 6 weeks on the beach most days. Tested low again in Dec so started taking supplement, now told still too low in beginning of March so now taking higher dose. I do get lower back pain and know from mri scan my spine is wearing. I have read if you are low in vit D it causes weight gain and if sevete can cause secondary hypothyoidism symptoms.

newnanny for your lower back pain try turmeric. I've been having pains in my hips and lower back wehn i get out of be in the morning. I don't like taking too much Ibuprofen or paracetamol and turmeric was recommended. I've only been taking it for 2 weeks but there does seem to be a slight improvement. It might be worth a try.
