Being with loved ones at a time of need.

I read this message from my local MP (Cornwall) on facebook last night:

"I have just received this message from a constituent.

Please read it. It moved me to tears. If this does not at least make you stop and think about the things you are doing I'm afraid you have no heart.

Our mission should be to do everything we can to make sure no family has to go through this due to our selfishness or stupidity.

Please - Stay Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives

On Sunday I lost my wife to covid 19 she was my everything she had underlying health issues and was in the vulnerable age group. She had survived cancer twice in the past and beaten it. Our children have lost a mum and our grandchildren a special nanny.

The staff at RCH Treliske were fantastic I asked if I could be with my wife at the end and the female doctor cried when she told me I could not be due to strict guide lines which I fully understand.

My wife managed a phone call to me the evening before she passed which was gut wrenching to say the least.

Please will you do your utmost to get these total idiots off our streets and spare another family our horrendous ordeal. I am sure Boris will do the right thing and put the country into lock down to slow the spread of this virus failing that I am fighting the urge to go out with a club and start beating it into peoples thick skulls."

Being with loved ones is something we will do again but as he pleads: Stay at home. Save lives
