Oh dear, it looks a bit like a very porous house brick. I wonder what it tastes like? The proof of the pudding is in the eating, as my dear old mum used to say.

turn it into bannofee cake .put a caramel sauce on it top with whipped cream and sliced banana .Its what Itaught my daughters girls when their banana bread didn't rise well ,mummy loved it .

I do find nowadays that when I lose my glasses they could be in the bin, in the freezer - outside in the peg box was a recent discovery - but so far I haven't managed to bake them. grin
