Face coverings

Just a thought , Perhaps you would be held accountable IF a person wore one of your face coverings but still contracted the Coronavirus .

Sell them on Ebay they are already selling homemade ones on there.

I bought some on Etsy - they look homemade.

Like Teetime I bought a pink floral number on Etsy.

My crochet face mask with filter pocket. I don't know if I will actually use it, as we have some proper ones in the house, which were supplied to DH where he works.

They are meant to prevent other people catching it from the wearer, not the other way round. I have been making them for a local group and they have a disclaimer with them explaining this.

There is a really easy way to make masks from an old long sleeved t shirt. Cut off just above the hem so you have a circle about an inch and a half. Trim off one of the seams and put this strip around your neck with the loose ends hanging down the front. Cut across the top of one of the sleeves then cut that sleeve across about six inches down so you have a six inch tube. Put the two hanging down ends through the tube and pull them, flipping the tube up over your mouth and nose. Tie the loose ends behind your head, above your ears. Adjust the mask, pulling it down over your chin, to make a good cover for mouth and nose. I made two they are easy and comfortable. I hope this makes sense. I saw it on Facebook.

rubysong, that sounds quite practicable for a non-crafty person like me. I will now rummage among the redundant garments waiting to go to charity shops when the lock-down ends.
