Our local Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust reserve opened for the first time since lockdown today. Bookings had to be made in advance to limit numbers and I have to say everything had been thought out very well - a one way system all around the reserve, limited numbers in hides with spaced out seating and some hides closed, latches removed from gates and hand sanitiser everywhere. I was quite giddy at the thought of actually going somewhere not entirely local but also a bit apprehensive and went armed with masks and gloves but all was fine.. There was a good mix of people: families with small children, older people like us and serious birders. Everyone obeyed the rules and we had a lovely time. When we got home I tried to rebook for next week but it was already full, despite bookings only opening this morning! Now I'm itching to go somewhere else...…..
Have any of you got all electric cars? Pros and cons please.
