My swing has gone

Yesterday I discovered another unfortunate result of lockdown. The extra weight was expected but this....

All through the lockdown I have walked my dog for a couple of hours and until May was mucking out my horse daily the only difference to life pre lockdown was no swimming. Due to a knee injury I didnt ride until yesterday. No problem mounting or riding BUT I couldn,t swing my leg over to dismount! I know my lad's bum hasn't grown but that easy swing has gone and a very ungainly dismount followed.
At 69 I have little bounce and tend to slither down my saddle like a bag of wet cement but have never had problems getting my leg over!!!
Four months without riding or swimming and I have rusted up like an old car.

I understand how you feel. I've done so much sitting that when I come to stand for any length of time, or when hoovering, the base of my back is so painful I can't wait to sit down again. This is awful because never in my 79 years have I ever suffered aches and pains in my bones.
I feel as though I've seized up and need a good oiling or a quick spray of WD40 on the base of my spine.
