One of my Chinese students claims his brother has had a corvid vaccine. I wonder if his brother is in a trail, although my student is insistent that it is an actual vaccine.

Argh! Covid, not corvid. Trial not trail. Fat fingers.

I heard on the radio yesterday they were available in China for the equivalent of £45 - not sure of numbers involved

DH said this evening that people in China were being vaccinated against COVID, although I don't think the trials are completed yet.

X post.

Oh, that might be it then. Money is no object with his family so... He said the whole family had put their names down for it but only his brother got it.

'A city in eastern China has started offering a coronavirus vaccine to the general public - although it has not yet completed clinical trials.'

The Chinese Communist Party says the vaccine works, so it works ————. Dont believe anything they say, ever.

Possibly not, but my students brother suffered no side effects, so it isn't harmful, at least.

GagaJo I would add the word-yet.

I would have thought it would be like the flu vaccine. Side effects within a week or so. He told me about this over s week ago.

Only time will tell if it actually works.

Most person might be fine, some might have side effects. I remember that a few people were reported to have developed Guillain-Barré syndrome after having the H1N1 vaccine.
