Queen hails 'wonderful work' of volunteers

I signed up for the volunteer scheme, but only ever had two calls, one it turned out the family were not expecting me and didn't want help, and the second one at a grossly inconvenient moment and I had to hand that over to someone else.

I do daily volunteering for the hospice, but not as part of the Covid volunteering team. But many other people have done the most amazing volunteering to keep the Country running, it would collapse without them, and I thought it was a lovely photo of the queen speaking to them.
