Had first dose on Friday. Saturday, very fluey with headache, nausea, stomach sensitivity, fatigue and an arm like a rock.

Side effects apparently worse after the 2nd dose (date in 4 weeks from 1st dose)! Oooer.

That sounds exactly like some of the flu jabs I’ve had.

You may be fine with the second dose, apparently it doesn’t follow that it will be worse.

A lively little vaccine according to one science bod???

Haha, it can be as lively as it likes. I was overjoyed to get it.

Good GagaJo! It’s now apparently the ‘best seller’ given the distrust in the poor AZ!

Sorry to ask GagaJo did you have to pay for it? Could you choose which vaccine?

All the vaccines give some people nasty side effects but better than getting Covid.

No. People in the next door cubicle were getting Pfizer, which I'd have preferred, but no choice. No. Free. Surely nowhere is charging for the vaccine?

My son had Moderna this week. He said he had an achey arm for a day or so but obviously hasn't yet had the second one.

GagaJo thanks no I was wondering whether you had to pay in Switzerland being a foreign national.

I just had my second moderna shot yesterday

First: nausea and light headed on and off for a week.

Second: nausea, exhaustion, headache... I took tylenol as recommended. I only have 1.5 day left of this

Grandpapa Mon 12-Apr-21 19:32:22

No side-effects with first dose; a bit of nausea for one day after second dose.

But, definitely worth it!

My dh and I have received both doses of Moderna. First one we experienced a sore arm for a day or two. After getting the second dose about 6 p.m., I awoke early the next morning with a headache. I had a low grade fever and felt fluish all that day with especially achy joints. My husband felt fine until the afternoon after his shot, when he ran a low grade fever with headache. We both began feeling better about 24 hours after receiving the second dose though our arms were a bit sore for another day.

No. It is mandatory to pay for health insurance here, so everyone living here, whether foreign or native, contributes. It is ridiculously expensive.

Glad to hear you got a vaccine GagaJo, I know you were anxiously waiting for it.

I was overjoyed maddyone, and still am. I'm counting the days till I hit the 3 week mark, and have some degree of immunity. AND for my 2nd jab. Or as they say here, Je prick. Unless she was just calling me names!
