Done it - got to my next target. It took me a loooong time! I started 4 years ago with a number that started with a 9, than an 8, now a 7 -
Another 1, to 1 and half stones to go, or 10 kg- to a comfortable 14/16 size.
I used to be much slimmer than that, but I think I'd look haggard - and being too thin when older is not safe.
A neighbour gave me a pile of magazines, the equivalent of SAGA mag in the UK. A very interesting article about being under-weight post 70 being far more dangerous than being a bit overweight. Even with a minor weight loss of 1 kilo per year (2lbs)- this can quickly add to being dangerously underweight over a decade (=10 kg= 1 stone and a half approx) with little chance of ever re-gaining sufficient weight to be healthy. My parents were both perfect weight at 70, and had never been overweight, but they both were bags of bones by the time they died. So a bit of reserve is good for you beyond 70, honest.
