Recipe for Welsh cakes (from an old tea towel I bought in Wales ages ago).

Sift tog 8oz flour, 1 teasp baking powder, pinch of mixed spice and salt.
Add 3oz caster sugar, 1 beaten egg, and some milk to make firm dough.
Roll out quarter inch thick. Cut into 2" rounds. Cook on a griddle.
Sprinkle with caster sugar.

Eat. Yum. smile
