I've banned myself from chocolate due to it giving me palpitations so have been treating myself to sweets from time to time. I'm currently nibbling some dolly mixtures, my favourite.

What are your favourite sweets?

If it isn't dark chocolate then milk bottle gums smile or haribo gums.

Fox's Glacier Mints as they have a slight medicinal effect they don't contain calories. wink

I've got a thing for Haribo Micro Mix. They are not easy to find here though. I also like foamy bananas, and any kind of chocolate.

I rarely buy them because I have to eat them all! Chocolate raisins!

Sorry, they aren't really sweets, so dolly mixtures are my sweetie pleasure.

Foxes glacier mints when travelling and dark chocolate at home

Oh I am addicted to those Haribo Tangfastics. They are quite sour and very fizzy. I can't just eat one though. I pretend I buy them for the DGC but they don't really like them. All the more for greedy grandma then.

What sweets do you remember from your childhood?

My brother used to like pineapple cubes and I liked the mustard one out of the old fashioned Spangles.

Proper Turkish delight. But only a couple of times a year. Because I can eat a whole box quite happily.

I have occasionally commented on GN that I'm not fond of chocolate and prefer cheese or savoury snacks.

But someone gave me a bar of Green & Black's thin milk chocolate salted caramel and I tried a small piece. The whole bar disappeared within the space of minutes - I don't know what happened...shock

rosesarered Sun 17-May-15 20:54:58

It just fell into your mouth Ana?

hildajenniJ Sun 17-May-15 21:02:55

If you can't eat chocolate, and like peanut butter, I know the very thing. They are called Reece's Peices they look like M&M's and are very, very nice.

chloe1984 Sun 17-May-15 21:18:58

I like any/all sweets with the exception of anything minty but if nothing else is available I will gobble those down as well.
