I have Tom Kerridge 'fresh start'. I like his recipes and have most of his books. I Like the series which comes with the book too....He has done marvellously well himself....mind you, some of the recipes in fresh start are high in calories but oh sooo good lol.

I see Mary will soon be launching a new book, quick meals I think it is, shall look forward to that when it comes out.

I love cookery books but am trying to curb my habit.

I find that I only use 3 or 4 recipes from each book and then forget about them when I get a new book.

Cookery books are so tempting, and beautiful to look at. I have tried weeding out the ones I no longer use, so haven't bought a new one for a while, but, I did send a Wagamama book to DS and had a photo back of him and DGS cooking and trying out a recipe. Lovely

I tend to get my recipes from the internet although I have about 50 cookery books.

I bought Otolenghi’s book Plenty in a charity shop. I’ve only used it a couple of times but I didn’t pay full price. Nice vegeatable recipes

Kitty I am like you. I have so many cookbooks but I bookmark my favourites , usually just three or four from each book.
Recently I have started using BBC Goodfood recipes from the internet. Easy to find and they have pictures which are essential to me.
My all time favourite book is Mary Berry - the original tome which is two inches thick and weighs a ton.
It contains every tip for cooking that you would ever need. Must have used this thousands of times.
These days I want recipes that are quick to make.

Mr GG13 was given Darina Allen, Forgotten Skills of Cooking for Christmas, he is enjoying reading it and I am looking forward to eating the results.

I like Tom Kerridge and have his Dopamine Diet book. What I don't understand is now he has lost 11stone on a low carb diet, he does not do a to program on it., or publish more books related to low carb

I love cookbooks but have also tried to curb the habit of buying new ones and download recipes from the internet and cut them out of magazines instead. But I am thinking of buying a multi-cooker and would welcome suggestions for vegetarian cookbooks/sites with recipes specifically for multi-cookers until I get the hang of it and can adapt recipes I already use.

I have just bought the Hairy Bikers Dieters Vegetarian book as we are trying to have more non meat meals and in the main trying to stick to chicken and fish on other days.
