Well, only the neck. Picked up fresh free range turkey from M&S this morning, first time there has been no bag of giblets for stock. Never thought to check that it came with giblets, since they always have.

I suppose hardly anyone makes proper gravy with giblet stock any more - they buy it ready made.

I've got the neck simmering with veg now, but I don't suppose it'll be quite the same.

Whenever I’ve bought a M&S turkey it’s only ever had the neck and no bag. I rely on the giblets for the gravy as my mother and grandma did. I buy my turkey at the farm shop now and remember to ask for that little bag. It dies make a difference to the gravy. I’m sure your gravy and Christmas meal will still be absolutely delicious

The giblets made a good stock. what a shame. I wonder what they do with them?

CraftyGranny they probably use them to make their own fresh turkey gravy ?

Always summer the giblets for stock and finely chop the liver to add to the chestnut stuffing!

The cats get some of the giblets too!

Simmer, not summer!

I buy M&S Turkey gravy so presumably I've got you giblets!

I make gravy for every other roast but I can do without that stress at Christmas.
