Been watching lots of cookery programmes lately. Anyone else notice the lack of basic food hygiene with some top chefs? Eg handling raw chicken then proceeding to handle salad after little more than a 3 sec hand splash under the tap. Some don’t even bother with the token splash. Saw one yesterday handle raw chicken into the pan then without washing hands chop up the salad and put on serving plate. Can’t help thinking if they do that in front of a tv camera what are the standards like behind closed doors. Also the mixing and serving using their bare hands when there is a rack of utensils beside them. There that’s my moan over for the day!
