I wonder if it's possible to make a cheesecake without cheese, cream etc?
Also a baked custard tart?
Hoping some of you food experts on here can give me ideas.
My husband is allergic to something in cow's milk.

Flora seem to have brought out a vegan long life cream substitute which interests me because I’m trying to find long life store cupboard items as I’ve been trying to make different sauces to go with my store cupboard pasta.

Fennel I use Oatly ‘cream’ to make a baked custard.

If your husband reacts to milk, could it be the lactose that affects him? If so, Arla Lactofree products are good, though I haven’t made a cheesecake using them.

I’ve used Oatly for drinks, and Alpro products for other things, and they’ve been fine.

You could use soya cream cheese and soya cream.

If you look online for Vegan recipes there are plenty to choose from.
DD is vegetarian and her OH is lactose Intolerant and she get recipes from various websites as she won’t buy processed food.

I knew some of you would be able to help smile.
I'll look into those and try to work out a recipe.
Thanks all!
