Has anybody had an afternoon tea delivered? I want to create a nice surprise for Mt. B and would like some recommendations.

We sent a Welsh afternoon tea from Daffodil foods to my MIL.She was really pleased with it.

Yes, I was bought one last year for my birthday, delivered from local tea shop in Kent. Would recommend it but won't help if you are in a different part of the country! There was enough for 2 people for 2 days!

Oh my word Susan I just had a look at their website, they look scrumptious. Have you seen the Christmas one? We will be having a very quiet Christmas together (by choice) and this has given me an idea.

Had one locally as presi from dd in lockdown. It was fabulous and so much it lasted us 3 days. Giant scones with jam and cream, choice of cakes, grapes, sausage roll, salad, 4 varieties of sandwich. Go for it Blossoming.

Yes, and they have been very successful. Checked the contents and the cost… a Devon company, I think.

Susan56 Thanks so much for the tip about Daffodil Foods it has sorted the problem of what to buy for DD's in-laws Christmas gift they are so difficult to buy for.

I sent my friend an afternoon tea for her birthday, from the Cornish Hamper Store.

She said it was amazing, and everything was lovely and fresh

They are letterbox friendly, so you don't have to wait in for a delivery.

How do you put a whole afternoon tea for two in a letter box? Have I missed something?

We sent the Cornish afternoon Tea to DD and the GCs last year, they thoroughly enjoyed it and sent pics, sitting outdoors with their hats, coats and scarves on enjoying their ‘picnic’. They live in Cornwall and were pleased that we supported a local company.

My DD found a local lady through Facebook to hand deliver a cream tea to me. I thoroughly enjoyed eating my way through it at my leisure!
