I've just cooked cheesy-breadcrumbed Basa, with sweet potatoes and oven-roasted Mediterranean vegetables. (It's a Gousto recipe I had ages ago) Gorgeous.

I've been emptying the freezer form the past few weeks. Defrost and clear out tomorrow. Tonight it will be some lamb fillets, red cabbage and potato gratin.

It was supposed to be lamb chops, but DD and her menfolk pitched up with an amazing beef casserole so what’s a girl to do😊? A nice bottle of Merlot and away we go!

I made steak and mixed veg pies in my pie maker carrot and turnip mash and cabbage. Dessert was a homemade lemon meringue pie. I finished a bottle of Cava I opened last night.

I made caramelised onion sausages with yorkshire pudding, boiled baby potatoes, peas and maple roasted carrot, parsnip and squash.
I didn't make a pudding as I'm attempting to lose a bit of weight.

WWM2 wouldn't mind an approximate recipe for your trout.

WWM2 wouldn't mind an approximate recipe for your trout.

Well
My ingredients are

2 rainbow trout fillets
Spring onions
Red chilli
Lime
Soy sauce (gluten free🙂)
Stem ginger in sauce
Ginger syrup
Garlic
Stir fry veg.

I’m not using rice - diet.

I reckon to use all the ingredients by mixing them together with sesame oil and pouring over the trout and bake - perhaps sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Stir fry veg with a bit of soy maybe and drizzle of sesame oil?

Well in fact I was rummaging around moaning about not finding recipe when DH said I’d be happy with cheese and biscuits with coffee, as he was still full from the big bowl of home made minestrone.

So that’s what we are having- shall have the trout tomorrow.
