What is this?

I bought 3 of these from the florist and she called them Bells of Ireland (or something like that!) but I can't find them any where in my books. I thought I might grow some as they look quite dramatic.

Sorry, can't get them the right way up!

Molucella laevis (apparently). Bells of Ireland. I googled it. Intriguing and very striking.

It’s Moluccella, I believe it comes from Western Asia. Interesting popular name, I expect it was brought over by sailors to Ireland.
I’m not sure but think it’s an annual.
