Good morning. A lovely sunny morning from Essex by the sea. Hopefully this will last all weekend.

No 'set in stone plans' today.

Morning All

Rabbits, rabbits, rabbits and Happy April!

Spent yesterday keeping DiL company after a botched job at the dentist and a midnight visit to A&E the day before. Not a well bunny. Knee survived remarkably well despite their large soppy dog who has no idea where his great barging backside is or what it's hitting! I haven't heard yet this morning so hopefully thats a good sign.

Intentions are for a quiet day with a bit of light ironing. Fingers crossed.

Good morning from an overcast north east. I was hoping to hear from Ernie today as I seem to be lucky at present, have won four competitions in the last two weeks and two of them were yesterday smile

Morning All. Bit gloomy at the moment but sun promised later. Off to meet with extended family. It won't be a quiet day smile. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.

Good morning all from Renfrewshire. A bit dull, but very mild. Packing today for our trip on the Flying Scotsman. So looking forward to it. Have a good Saturday everyone..

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Shopping trip to town with DS, a rare occurrence.

PRINTMISS Sat 01-Apr-17 08:09:06

White Rabbits and good morning to you all. Uncertain weather again here, but that has been the norm for the past mornings, often turning into a pleasant evening, when it is too late to do too much! Envy you your trip on the Flying Scotsman Marydoll Something about steam train travel, love it. Not a lot planned for today, as usual, had a lovely afternoon yesterday at a farewell party for one of the care workers for our son, met up with some old friends. Enjoy your days.

Good morning to you all on this first day of April. Blue skies in sunny London. Pilates this morning, some shopping, then easy day . Concert tonight in Cadogan Hall so early dinner. Have a lovely day!

Good morning, Michael, and all GNs. Pinch punch first if the month!
Dull start here in South Yorkshire, but then, it was yesterday and it turned out to be brilliant. Baking today and making a curry for tommorrow. GS is coming this evening to sleep over so greatly looking forward to that. I expect it will be yet another Harry Potter film after tea!
Marydoll I have serious train envy! The last time I saw the Flying Scotsman it was in bits in the workshops at the Railway Museum in York. So good to see it in steam again. Enjoy the trip! Have a good day, folks.

Good morning Michael and everyone. Rain promised today so Aldi shop and a coffee planned. Harrigran don't think Ernie is doing the draw until the 4th no idea why, it was something I read on Internet.

DanniRae Sat 01-Apr-17 08:40:01

Good Morning All from a bright South London - no blue sky yet! Getting rid of lots of stuff today (hopefully) at a local Table Top Sale. Better get dressed and organised then!

Have a Good Day Everyone smile

Good morning from Mid Wales, sun is struggling through the rain clouds

hildajenniJ Sat 01-Apr-17 09:57:59

Good morning everyone.
The rain is falling softly on the Tyne Valley, everything is very still and quiet. Today I must do my washing, and return my house to normal after being left with the men for four days. My visit to the grandchildren was lovely, and my SiL returned home to joyfully shouts of "daddy's here".
Have a good weekend everyone, and I hope it's not too wet.

Happy first of the month all. I wonder if we will uncover any April Fool stunts, watched a clip on BBC news from 60 years or so ago in which a clip was shown of "spaghetti trees" if only! Some viewers subsequently enquired as to where they could get hold of such a tree. Italy presumably grin Today it's cloudy and sunny in the South East but I think the clouds will dominate and possibly rain on us. Youngest son and girlfriend are staying a couple of nights so we are catching up with their news but not a lot planned other than that and a few domestic chores.

PRINTMISS Sat 01-Apr-17 10:57:27

"Terribull" I remember that clip quite clearly, and can still see in my mind the father of the present day Dimblebys (can't remember his first name), presenting it, walking round showing 'trees' with spaghetti hanging from them, spaghetti was not as popular in those days.

DanniRae Sat 01-Apr-17 17:33:35

Richard Dimbleby I think PRINTMISS.

Table Sale went well - we made about £25! I think they are going to do it again in a month or two as it was a success - good we can get rid of more stuff.

Mapleleaf Sat 01-Apr-17 22:18:25

I think it was Richard Dimbleby too. I remember seeing the clip in the 1970's. I think it was repeated on several occasions because it was so funny ( I suppose funny because people were taken in by it, but at the time, as PRINTMISS says, spaghetti was not so popular and not so well known).
