Morning everyone.
I expected someone to have started the thread, but I can't find it.
Sun is trying to come out in Kent. Our new cat is literally climbing the walls to get outside. She turns out to be he all black and at the moment called Coco. Not sure about that.
Enjoy your day especially if sharing with family.

Good morning ninathenana and Happy Easter to you, your family, the cat, everyone!

Greyduster Sun 16-Apr-17 08:34:14

Good morning, Nina, Michael in absentia, and all GNs. I was looking for the thread too! Thank you for getting us moving this Easter morning! Your new cat sounds a lively chap, Nina! We have sun in South Yorkshire today which is a surprise - it was supposed to be wet. Maybe later. DD is coming to spend the day with us as her menfolk are away. She will be here overnight too which will be good as DS is coming down tommorrow so she will have the chance to see him. Whatever you are doing today, have a happy, peaceful day!

About time!!!!!!

Good Morning Nina!! Happy Easter.

Hope you enjoyed your lie ingrin

Sunny and cloud here but still no rain.

Offspring here today plus grandchildren. Plus 2 dogs, making 3 dogs in total. Duncan will take himself off to the bedroom and sulk. Ernie is a huge pony sized labradoodle and Duncan gets the quivers. Hope to have a relaxed day pre-exams!!! Not the best few weeks to come. Still summer holidays should be all the sweeter.

Two roast organic free range chickens (one not big enough) stuffed - a la Delia. Pigs in blankets etc. Chocolate pudding and custard or summer pudding and ice cream (gluten free). Fizz to drink - J2O for children.

Won't have much time for garden.

Enjoy your day nina and everyone else

Good morning to you all, Yes, of course Mick is away isn't he,so someone else had to start the thread, so thank you Nina.A fine morning here again, and no rain yet - the trouble is when it does start to rain, it will not know when to stop will it, but anything is welcome at the moment. Nothing planned for today, our son might visit for a cup of tea, so I am hoping to do yet more sorting out, and getting rid of 'stuff' I no longer use or want, although the chances are, having kept things for years, and then disposed of them, I will need them. Oh hum! Enjoy your days.

kittylester Sun 16-Apr-17 08:40:16

Morning all! Thank you nina.

It is quite bright this morning in North Leicestershire but the forecast is for heavy rain.

DH and I are having a planning meeting to decide which plants we need to fill in the gaps and we might venture to a garden centre to look around.

We had a super day yesterday with most of the family and lots of easter eggs were found!

MawBroon Sun 16-Apr-17 08:40:17

Good morning and Happy Easter to you all!

annsixty Sun 16-Apr-17 08:42:54

Good morning all.
Although I haven't been posting recently, Good Morning is always the first thread I read and "there it wasn't" today.
After a bright and sunny start the sun has disappeared in Stockport.
Makes no difference to me but
I hoped all the children who have egg hunts would enjoy them in the sun.
Very quiet Easter for us.?

mumofmadboys Sun 16-Apr-17 08:43:48

Happy Easter everyone! He is Risen!!

Nana3 Sun 16-Apr-17 08:45:01

You should check before you have a wasted journey.

Good morning, it is much calmer today and the sun is shining but it is still just 4 degrees.
Will visit GC to give them their eggs this afternoon.
Hope Michael is enjoying his magical mystery tour.

Grannybug Sun 16-Apr-17 08:46:40

Good morning from a sunny Northamptonshire. Happy Easter to all and enjoy Sunday.

Chewbacca Sun 16-Apr-17 08:47:52

Good morning and Happy Easter everyone. A rather cool and overcast day here, which is a bit disappointing as we're meeting up with DS & family for a family picnic this afternoon. All the food is prepared and ready to be packed into cool box but if the weather doesn’t buck up, it could end up being an "indoor picnic "! Is there such a thing?

rosesarered Sun 16-Apr-17 08:59:31

Good morning from a sunny Oxfordshire, where bells are already ringing out for the 9 am service.Happy Easter!

Morning All, good wishes for Easter Sunday. Sunny morning, nice surprise after a decidedly pessimistic weather forecast. Family coming for supper, would be good to be organised, thank you for starting things nina, Hope mick is enjoying his mystery tour. Guess I'd better at least think about being organised.

Pittcity Sun 16-Apr-17 09:11:29

Good morning from sunny Colchester. A Happy Easter to all ??
Looking forward to roast lamb later, we are chocolate free here for the first Easter ever so we need to indulge somehow!

Tippy22 Sun 16-Apr-17 09:12:47

Lovely blue sky here in Sussex. A walk on the beach and roast lamb for lunch. Enjoy your day everyone.

hildajenniJ Sun 16-Apr-17 09:16:15

Good morning everyone, and Happy Easter.
We're off to Alnwick Garden in a little while, to celebrate our wedding anniversary which was yesterday. 35 years, where has the time gone.
The weather doesn't look promising though, as it's very grey and had been raining. Let's hope it's better in Alnwick.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Chewbacca Sun 16-Apr-17 10:20:27

Many congratulations hilda. Have a lovely day at Alnwick, it's lovely there no matter what the weather, although sunshine does help! flowers

NfkDumpling Sun 16-Apr-17 10:52:31

Morning All

Happy Easter! DGD1 asked earlier if the icecream van was coming - it was the church bells! (and she goes to a CoE school).

Easter egg hunt taking place as I type. A bit earlier than we usually do it but the lovely morning is clouding over fast. Needless to say, despite careful counting, there is an egg missing! I'm watching inside with the dogs.

whitewave Sun 16-Apr-17 16:04:20

Don't you just love sport!!!

DD and I fiddling around in the kitchen. One lot of men in the dining room with football - the other lot in the sitting room F1!!

Mind you we've got the wine and secret chocolate!
