Grey at the moment and not particularly warm, but forecast another dry sunny day.

Watching Monty Don on Friday planting Mme Alfred Carrier and Souvnier du doctuer jamain (sp). I have both -the Carrier is rampant but Jamain is really struggling, so this year is its last chance. I've fed it watered it mulched it and gave it as much light as its north facing position allows. If this doesn't work than I'm afraid it is curtains

Nothing much planned, stuffed chicken breast for dinner with summer veg.

Good morning Michael, and all GNs. Sunny and cold in South Yorkshire. We will have a walk later, I think, but at the moment I'm not in any hurry to get up! Happy Sunday folks!

Good morning to you all, a little overcast and the forecast is for it to remain so all day. I wish for rain, but knowing this country, when once it starts to rain it will not know when to stop. Yesterday we had a really cold wind, so pleased I had decided not to play bowls, but just pop to the club for five minutes to watch. Son to lunch today, must treble the quantity I usually cook, funny how it is sometimes difficult to judge the amount just for one extra. We are looking forward to that. Enjoy your days.

Morning All

The forecast on Friday said it would be sunny today after lunch, then yesterday that it would be grey with maybe a shower and this morning that it will be overcast all day. It's bright sunshine and a nearly cloudless sky! Hopefully it'll stay this way as we taking a picnic and, with the help of DS and family, moving our little boat from winter to summer berth. Only the Broads I know but it's still a four hour motor. (15 minutes by car!) Love it!
