Morning Mick, Morning All. Awake at silly o'clock. It's dry and fairly bright in our corner of Somerset. Have some plants to put in but that's about all today. Did BT gets the external problem sorted Mick? Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Good morning Mick and everyone. Dry and bright in Lancashire and a good forecast for today.
Sorry you are having BT problems Mick such a nuisance.
DGC stayed last night, thinking about having a day out somewhere with them today. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all,
Beautiful blue sky at the moment in South Yorks. Had a lot of rain yesterday p.m and evening, including a thunder storm around 8 p.m. which briefly took out our power.
Looks as though it might be a brighter day today. Hope you get your BT line sorted soon, Mick.
Enjoy Sunday, everyone.

Morning all

Beautiful day forecast.

Walk with dog and country pub lunch beckons.

DH is also busy in his wood shed turning and carving for his stall next weekend at the village May Day fete. I shall have to pull my finger out as I've promised to bake cakes for a couple of the charity stalls.
It is an incredibly popular fete so everything flies off the stalls, there are jazz bands maypoles Morris dancers and dog shows amongst so much else. I love it.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Good morning to you all, another rather uncertain morning here, but rain is not forecast, so perhaps the high clouds will just disperse. Our son is coming for lunch today, so we will enjoy reading his diary, and finding out what he has been doing for the past few weeks. Enjoy your days.

Morning All

A wonderful bright sunny morning with a few high clouds here in Norfolk. Our neighbour has been crashing around outside for hours loading his drive with interesting things for the town garage sale. So DH has been up too and wants to get on with decorating the dining room now we have a nice smooth ceiling - and I've missed out on my morning 'quiet time'. Better give in and get dressed and do something. I think perhaps a little light weeding in the sun.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Hot weather is back here.
DD1 and DGSs coming for lunch so we need to go to the supermarket!

Morning all!

It's a glorious start to the day in North Leicestershire. Planning a gentle stroll round the village maybe along the river, which we haven't done for ages and then trying to control the pyracanthas - we have moaned for years about them doing nothing - they were obviously listening and have gone bananas just to annoy us.

Good morning all. Sunny here in N Bucks at last (but so was yesterday morning before the heavens opened)
DGS3's first birthday party/lunch/tea today in London. It is still in the balance whether Paw will make it, but fingers crossed. He at least seemed to get a reasonable night's sleep and is not coughing and wheezing (or being sick?)
Happy days!

Good morning all

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A late one for me this morning. Maple has done the weather, but we didn't get her thunderstorm or power cut! At least we got the lawns cut and the weeding done before the rain came. May get a walk in this morning, then DD et al are coming for a late lunch. GS has requested roast pork and plenty of crackling. For him, anything!
Hope your DH is well enough to get to the party, Maw. Have a good day, folks.

The problem is the download and upload speeds to low to watch internet TV channels like Eurosport.
Cause is external at a junction box or something.

mick if it isn't fixed quickly a letter to the Chairmans Office at the registered office for BT(not customer services) should get a speedy resolution. We've had to do it twice and each time the issue was fixed promptly. Hope it's sorted soon.

Hello all.
I'm rather late to this thread but I can report that I've managed to mow the lawn today!

I'm a bit of a lurker on here ...although I have been a member for a while. Just a bit lacking in confidence to post on the other threads.
This has been a help looking in on you all.

I think of Jo Cox very often and her lovely family. I am sure that she would be so proud of them all as they are of her.
Best wishes to you all.
