Hope I'm not duplicating this, I couldn't find today.
Morning everyone.....see how much we miss you Mick grin

A dull start in Kent but I'm hopeful it will brighten. Just a bit of housework today.
Enjoy your days GN's

Good morning, nina, good morning, everyone.
A bright start to the day here in South Yorks, with some light cloud at the moment. It was a lovely day yesterday and I managed to get some hedging cut (DH out of action at the moment after his op a few weeks ago). I ache in places I'd forgotten about this morning! Oh, well. It will get better.
Not a lot planned today. A flower show at one of our local churches today, so planning to go to the service there rather than at my regular church, but otherwise, a lazy day forecast I think.
Enjoy your Sunday, everyone. ?

Morning all

Sun and cloud and cooler today. Last night went for a late evening walk along the river. It was the sort of walk that you dream of in mid winter. Absolutely lovely.

Making Gazpachio for lunch - first time I've ever made it.

Lamb, chick peas and feta for supper.

Enjoy your day all.

Good morning, Nina, and Michael enjoying his break, I hope. Thank you for starting the thread, Nina. The sun is shining again in South Yorkshire. I was up early having a monumental sneezing fit and looking for my nasal spray! DH is going to watch GS's Lads and Dads footie match today; he has been invited to join in but I have expressly hmm forbidden it. Roast pork for lunch with apple and blackberry crumble. Have a good one, folks.

Well done nina!

It's a bit overcast in North Leicestershire this morning. I hope it brightens up as it's the village Street Market today and I promised to take DGD1 and her pocket money! grin

Morning all! Mostly sunny here in Wicklow, Ireland this morning. Just considering an early swim as I live beside the sea. Love the nearly deserted beach at this time - by mid morning it'll be swarming with families. Hoping my DS will come to dinner later - think we'll pull together a bbq! Yum!

Morning All

A grey start here in Kendal, but the forecast is for sun later.

Yesterday we drove that wonderful circuit finishing over the Honister Pass and Derwent Water. The day was sunny and the scenery fantastic as ever but the traffic and the mad fules on fast bikes made for difficult driving. It's got so much busier since we last came 15 years ago but the roads haven't changed. Did a bit of walking too - until I got to the really steep bits! So, we're a trifle stiff and tired today and have decided to loll around on the site and eat and read books.

Good morning from an overcast Colchester. No rain yet though. We need some!
Family visit has been postponed as SonIL is off to A&E with a suspected broken thumb, sustained at a beer festival???
I am going to go and get myself a new tennis racket instead.

Morning everyone! Seems like another hot and sunny day in store for us here on the south coast.

A quiet day for us after a hectic and too hot a time in full sun yesterday at the mini-fest, where I was singing with my choir for 45 minutes. Felt faint and nauseous and realised that maybe it was too much for me. (Perish the thought) Beat a hasty retreat and went home for lots of water to drink, a cool shower and blessed SHADE! confused

Good morning from the sunny north east. Managed an entire afternoon in the garden yesterday, what better than an ice cream and your novel under the parasol smile

Good morning from a hot day in the south east. Taking it easy today, entertained granddaughter most of yesterday taking her swimming. Apart from a bit of ironing and cooking I intend to spend most of this aternoon in the garden reading the Sunday Times with a couple of glasses of wine
