Morning Mick, morning all.

It's quite bright in North Leicestershire this morning.

Just pootling and faffing this morning and then helping on a CrISP course this afternoon - way out in the wilds of North West Leicestershire and, yet again, DH will be using my car! sad

Good luck with the blood test, Mick.

Enjoy your Wednesdays everyone.sunshine

Good morning, Michael, Kitty, and all GNs. Blue sky and high cloud in South Yorkshire. I had a good night's sleep last night for a change. Things are looking up! Hope your bloods are okay, Mick. Have a good day folks.

Good morning Mick and everyone. Dull here, but as the saying goes...dull/rain before 7...fine by 11!

I am off to the gym this morning. Then this afternoon, driving over to Mums and taking her to visit son and his family. I have a home made lasagne to take for dinner for us all smile

Marydoll Wed 16-Aug-17 07:06:59

Good morning, Mick, Kitty and GD, rain forecast all day. Oh for some nice weather.
Hope blood test is ok, Mick.

Toddler DGD all Day.
We have someone coming to cost changing downstairs loo into a wet room. Trying to prepare my home before my mobility deteriorates further. Getting in and out of the bath is becoming a struggle.
Have a good day, everyone.

Marydoll Wed 16-Aug-17 07:07:52

Good morning too, NannyJan! Fingers too slow sad

Gagagran Wed 16-Aug-17 07:21:54

Morning all! Bit grey now after a lovely sunrise here on the south coast.

Just enjoyed watching HMS Queen Elizabeth arrive in Portsmouth Harbour on TV and the live webcam at the harbour. What a huge ship! We would have gone to watch it in person except a lot of the roads into Portsmouth have been closed - you have to ask why they did that.

Pottering day in store for me, DH out with his bike club then I'm off to choir tonight.

Wishing happy days for all GNs sunshine

Morning All

Where are you Marydoll? We've been promised rain for days in Norfolk but it rarely gets here. Sunny this morning and no sign of overnight rain despite the forecast. I'm not complaining - it's nerves. My DD2 is on holiday and I said I'd water her tomato plants if no rain, and it means facing her house alarm. I have the number (what if it's wrong!) and instructions but am scared rigid of setting the thing off! Will I be surrounded with burly coppers? There's heavy rain forecast for tomorrow morning before we leave for our weekend away. I may chicken out and leave them to their fate.

Good luck with the blood test Mick. I hope all is well.

Good Morning Marydoll. Hope you have good day with Toddler DGD!

Forgot to say, hope all goes well with blood test Mick

Good morning everybody. Some sun here but overcast. Need to visit allotment as no sign of rain here in Midlands. Hope your blood test just a routine one Mick and results are favourable.

The Blood test is a first of a 3 month session of tests , because I have had increase in metformin in dosage from 750 mg to 1000mg.
Hoping it reduces my diabetes percentage.
Mick

Greyduster Wed 16-Aug-17 07:46:55

Fingers crossed Mick ?!

ffinnochio Wed 16-Aug-17 07:48:25

Good morning. It seems like a fine, calm day ahead.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Another warm dry day forecast here.
Midway through the holiday laundry.
Plumber coming this afternoon as toilet developed a leak while we were away.

Tippy22 Wed 16-Aug-17 08:27:41

Grey here in East Sussex but the forecast is good. Good luck with the blood test Mick. Enjoy your day everyone.

Mapleleaf Wed 16-Aug-17 08:28:25

Good morning, everyone. Hope all goes well with the blood tests, Mick and your diabetes percentage reduces.
Nice morning in my part of South Yorks. A bit of cloud developing, but it's supposed to be a nice day. It felt quite Autumnal when I popped into the garden this morning, and having returned from 2 weeks away, I've noticed some of the leaves on the trees are beginning to turn already.
Having new shed put up today - hope it goes up without any problems ?

Mapleleaf Wed 16-Aug-17 08:34:21

Thank you Greyduster - just seen your post from yesterday. Holiday was lovely but it's back to reality now with loads of washing and ironing! ?

Good morning from a lovely bright sunny morning in Essex by the sea. We have had lovely weather for the last few days.
I seem to have picked up the Leamington lurgy after spending last week with DD1 and 3 DGD. Very croaky and nasty sinus headache. Never mind will feel better soon.
I am off to hospital this morning for ultrasound on my hands and wrists to see if there is any inflammation. Will go by bus as trying to park at the hospital can be very fraught.

harrigran Wed 16-Aug-17 08:56:27

Good morning, nice and bright here in the north east. Hope it stays pleasant.
Yesterday was a warm sunny day but spent a lot of hours in the car going to and from Cumbria, it was sunny there too.
DH out this afternoon so I might finish my novel.

Anniebach Wed 16-Aug-17 09:12:29

Good morning all

whitewave Wed 16-Aug-17 09:30:09

Morning all

mick smile

Dull but good forecast so it might clear up here in South (this is the new me in view of the FB/twitter news)

Nothing more specific.

I have decided to keep to entirely impersonal topics.
