Good Morning Bank Holiday Monday

Good morning. Another very hot, sultry day ahead. The days take on a different pace in this heat, yet the tinges of Autumn are showing. An odd combination.

The sun is up and it is set fair for another lovely day here on the south coast. It is our vullage show today and the first time in a few years that the weather has been so good for it.

DH is involved with the cycling club' s stall where they have two Turbo Challenge bikes to see who can cycle furthest in one minute. It's great fun and there's usually a queue waiting to have a go - children especially are very competitive but so are their Dads!

Hope paw is improving maw and hope all those with troubles have a happier day.

Quiet a misty start in Kent but annothe lovely day forecast. H and I both have specsave appointments later. Could work out expensive, as I think we both need new prescriptions.

Good morning, it is dry but not very bright yet. Forecast is good but I have a lot of jobs to do before childcare starts again tomorrow. Two sets of birthday gifts to wrap and hide before they arrive.

Sunny here, was scorching yesterday afternoon for a while. Summer is going out with a bang. Surprised a fox this morning in the park. Soon will be too dark for my early morning walk, I will have to do the roads instead.

Last morning of snuggles with these two DGD as they are going home this morning. They have been here 10 days so it will be nice to have some peace but will miss them.

Good morning from Lancashire, it was a gorgeous day yesterday and it looks good today. I have a lot of plans and had better get going. Mum is still in bed, mostly asleep, its unbearably sad.

Morning all, sun blazing now in Kent. We are aiming for Whitstabubble later and a wee bit of shopping. DH was given a cheese making kit (blessed are the ...), and needs a new stainless steel pan to get started. Might just see if we can dawdle by he sea in Seasalter and have an icecream. Went to a very traditional village fete yesterday so feeling very much like we are on holiday - last hurrah before the mantle of work descends.
