Good morning Mick and all.

We have avoided rain in the past few days in my corner of Kent and I am enjoying the sense of a dry, crisp autumn. Won't last, I know.

Day 2 of new job training today. Meeting some interesting new people along the way and as it is very local, home by about 4:15 which is very nice.

It's dry but murky and grey in North Leicestershire this morning. Just the weather for a funeral.

I think we have your rain imp!! The roads round here are flooded and impassable. I think we are getting more of the wet stuff later too.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. No rain forecast again so will have to water my pots.
DH is helping a friend with the grape harvest. I can't decide whether to tag along today or to have a lazy one.

It is grey and misty and calm in South Yorkshire. I feeel a bit better than I did yesterday so I am going to try a few hours fishing later. May there be no sun, no wind, and may my line lay flat on the water! Not to mention I would like some fish, please. Sorry you have a funeral to face, kitty.

Good morning, cloudy but calm here in the north east. I had a better night after taking pain killers at bedtime and feel more able to cope today.
Hairdresser coming at 10am and DH has hospital appointment at lunchtime.

Morning All

Overslept this morning. It's a lovely autumn morning here in Norfolk. We seem to have very variable weather for such a small country at the moment.

I hope your funeral goes as well as a funeral can Kitty and I'm glad you're feeling better today greyduster. May you catch many fish.

We didn't get our cruise on the river yesterday, but we have a very clean caravan back in her storage slot - much more sensible. We can't do much today as DH has appointments for blood tests and I'm off to collect DGdog who's coming to stay until the weekend. (I just hope he's fleas have all gone now)

It is sunny with thin cloud today. Yesterday it was really dull, Lights on all day, a layer of thick cloud and totally miserable.

I have two new plants to plant. I can't resist a bargain. Two lovely Heucheras for £10. It is garden bargain time.
