Morning Mick and All.

Sitting here with a cuppa in bed quietly sobbing at the dreadful news that one of our GN members Anniebach has lost her daughter to suicide. Please take the time to send her your thoughts.

Good Morning Mick.

Once again I couldn't nod off, despite a shed-load of drugs before turning in, so I have spent most of the night reading. I turned on my laptop at 5am to see what was going on here. It's a chilly morning here and the sky is very grey, despite it being bright and red in patches last night! So much for shepherd's delight! grin

It's a good job I don't have any firm plans for today. I think I might feel very groggy later on.

I wish other GransNetters a good Thursday.

Hi, Mick, Good morning. Looks like a beautiful day here again in East London. Piano being tuned this morning.

Day6 Thu 02-Nov-17 06:52:54

OMG!

Oh Anniebach...how terrible! My sincere condolences to you and your family Annie. I am so, so sorry and hope you have someone with you right now. Dreadful news. I am thinking of you. There are no words...

Morning all.

It is a really sad day whatever the weather today. North Leicestershire is greyish.

I am going out to lunch with a friend whose husband has recently died and my thoughts will be with Annie too.

Good morning everyone

Have just logged on and seen Annie's message. Can hardly imagine what she is going through, so dreadful.

MawBroon Thu 02-Nov-17 07:02:12

Good morning - feeling very subdued and cannot get poor Anniebach out of my head as another day dawns.
Puts things into perspective does it not?
Wishing you all and those you love a safe day.

Good morning.
A bit chilly in North Bucks at the moment.
Off to spend the day at Centre Parc ( Wobourn) with two of my daughters and both DGS. Will be swimming and have promised I will go around the rapids but not on the water slides !

Good morning Mick and all, a good weather forecast for today, should make the most of it really.
Thinking of Anniebach. And concerned for all GN' s with family troubles.
Hope today is kind to everyone.

Good morning everyone. I too am texting in tears. Kept thinking of Anniebach in the night.

Marydoll Thu 02-Nov-17 07:27:39

Good morning all, a crisp Autumn morning.
I couldn't sleep for thinking of Anniebach.

Morning All

Such a shock to hear Annies awful news. How life can change in a moment.

A brilliant red sunrise this morning, and a gentle breeze. Washing to do and a DH to nurse after his biopsy op yesterday. Picked him up starvingly hungry and very thirsty at eight last evening. He hasn’t stirred yet this morning.

Pittcity Thu 02-Nov-17 07:38:23

Good morning from sunny Colchester.
Thinking of Anniebach today.

cornergran Thu 02-Nov-17 07:47:58

Morning All. Very misty in our corner of Somerset. Annie is constantly in my thoughts, so sad. Not much here today. As ever I hope the day is kind to us all.

ninathenana Thu 02-Nov-17 07:49:26

Morning everyone.
Sunny start with a low mist over the marsh here in Kent. It looks lovely but it has a ting of sadness today.
As you say Nfk life can change in a moment flowers Annie

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A bit of a slow start to the weather this morning, but it is dry. GS has been here overnight, which is a great joy for us, but reading Annie’s post yesterday was very sobering and sad. What an awful thing to happen.
Glad your DH is home, Nfk. Hope he is okay. Have a good day, folks.

I haven’t been on this thread for some time but like others I just wanted to say good morning, stay safe everyone, and I can’t get Anniebach’s sad news out of my mind.
It’s a misty morning in this part of the South East which adds to the gloominess that I feel at the moment.

Gagagran Thu 02-Nov-17 08:21:13

Morning all from a misty south coast. The sun is trying to break out.

Such awful news for Anniebach. Puts a whole new light on family and what they mean to us. Hope we can all spare a special though for Annie and also a grateful thanks to the universe for what we have.

Nelliemoser Thu 02-Nov-17 08:48:34

Good Morning All.
Very sad news about Anniebach's daughter.
I feel so sad for her.

Mapleleaf Thu 02-Nov-17 09:21:10

Good morning everyone from a grey South Yorkshire.
Just read about the news about Anniebach's daughter. So very sad.
