Good Morning Mick and everyone,

Cold and icy here today. I have been away for a few days to visit my friend who recently moved to Lincs! Lovely to see her again.

I am awaiting the Engineer for the Boiler to be serviced, then the day is my Oyster!

Hope the course goes well kitty, have a lovely day all,

Good morning all. Weather looks a bit gloomy so far, but it isn't cold.

Morning Mick Kitty and everyone!

Cold and clear here on the south coast and it feels more like winter than autumn today. Not my favourite season. I ache when it's cold.

Hope the day is a good one for all GNs sunshine

Bella, a Speed Awareness Course is something you do instead of getting points on your licence when you have been caught speeding. You still pay the fine and can only do one if three years have elapsed since the last one.

loopyloo Mon 13-Nov-17 07:34:24

Morning everyone!
I think people can be divided into those that get speeding fines and those that get parking tickets. I come in the latter group. We are going to sort out the paint tins today as part of the home clear out. Exciting! Unwanted tins to the recycling site! Yeah !
Have a good day everyone.

Top of the mornin to y'all, Are you OK in the cold Mick? For me it's 'longjohns' time and I don't leave the house. I stand at the front door to let Benny have a run in the garden.
I,ve been on an awareness course, NEVER AGAIN. I would rather pay the fine than go through the 4 hours of boredom.
Have a nice day everyone. smile Brian.

Good morning.
It's very cold and bright here in South Yorkshire. Will need to wrap up warm again.
Coffee group later, then house cleaning.
Enjoy your day.

Very good morning from the South Downs

Cor blimey! Parky this morning and no mistake.

Bright though - but won’t be going into the garden as still a chilly wind.

Still making my Christmas cards. It takes me 2-3 days for each one as I’m painting them. Should have started earlier. Oh well ever onwards.

Just received my Christmas murder book. I get them every December as a tradition. Usually written during the 30 s or 40 s. I enjoy that.

Have a splendid day one and all

Good morning all. A bright and frosty start here in North Bucks.

Morning All. Lovely clear morning in our corner of Somerset, a little frost, the sort of morning I enjoy. Mr C has a GP appointment, I’m off for lunch with a friend, then a peaceful evening as Mr C has a meeting. Pretty good day overall. kitty’s post made me smile, just drive carefully there and back smile. Hope Monday is kind to everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Maple has given you our weather ?; spot on about it being cold! Late for me this morning. DH had a horrible night coughing so I got up and made him a hot drink which seemed to work, but then I was wide awake! Sorting out the fridge this morning - oh, the excitement! Have a good day, folks!

Good morning, you're early again Mick. Lancashire is cold, bitter wind in the town centre at the service yesterday.
Have a good day everyone.

bumblebee123 Mon 13-Nov-17 09:00:07

Hey Whitewave, would it be possible to see some pictures of your cards? I bet they are really special.
You like your xmas murder books do you, who is your favourite authour? Many years ago I used to help run a chat room club in New Zealand and I used to write humourous xmas ghosty stories which were very popular. I also used to write about a hedgehog called Spike. These days I find it hard to write a letter in these groups.
Brian.

Good morning, dry but very cold here.
Nothing pressing today but really must not sit in front of TV with boxed set again.
Kitty, three times shock

Nelliemoser Mon 13-Nov-17 09:20:08

Good Morning all. A heavy frost here in Cheshire seem to have done for the remaining plant stems.
I an still in my dressing gown and I have been sitting in the chair reading a good detective novel for an hour and a half.

Sheer bliss if a bit lazy.

Morning All

A bright blustery morning here in Norfolk, with occasional heavy downpours. Off in a minute or too to clean the boat before moving her to her winter quarters tomorrow. At least we shouldn’t need to rinse her off.
