Morning Mick and everybody! Think it's cold and it's certainly dark here on the south coast but we are promised some sunshine this morning.

Library and a bit of shopping this morning. Must remember my gloves.

We are having 2 poorly dgc today - they have been off all week with really bad coughs. I foresee lots of cuddly TV watching!

A friend is coming for dinner this evening.

Silly I know, but today's local paper will carry the story of my father in law being given a national award for his work and I'm so excited I'm off to the shop to buy it. He's very modest and wouldn't permit me to inform the paper, but happily one of the handful of friends who knew about it had no such compunction.

Slight frost here. Partners Daugther (1 one twins) is coming from London tonight for the weekend. She recently moved there after securing a job after completing her Masters! So expensive to live there though!

So today I am cooking and baking and a bit of housework.

Yesterday was the first day I felt human after my bout of Shingles.

Hardly dare mention the weather here, but it is very mild even for Malta at this time of year.

Really need to tackle the ironing as I have been putting it off so long there is now a mountain of it. Oh well, keeps me busy I suppose.

Woke up during the night with dreadful backache, I think I overdid the physio yesterday.
Going shopping for DS's birthday present, his list reads pretty much the same as the year he was 15.

Bright, still and decidedly chilly in Norfolk.

Overslept as I was awake a lot last night. No idea why. Off to art class this morning and then we have the switching on of the Christmas lights in town this evening. I think an offspring or two may come with us but it depends how tired the DGC are. DGS hates going to bed so is usually dropping on his feet by Friday.

Good morning from a brightening Colchester. Forecast is for cold and sunny this weekend.
Not going near today to avoid the 'Black Friday' mayhem but may browse for bargain Christmas stuff online.

Got up at 5 am and fell asleep in the chair down stairs.
It's bright and mild in Kent, no frost here .
H is off to London at lunchtime and not back until tomorrow evening so I will be indulging myself, how, I don't know yet.
