It doesn't seem too cold in North Leicestershire and I can't hear any wind or rain yet.

I'm Christmas shopping this morning and doing the school run this afternoon.

Morning Mick, Morning Kitty. Morning All. Been awake since silly o’clock. Too dark to see much but it seems quiet in our corner of Somerset. Baking this morning then hospital, routine sort of a day. Good luck with the shopping kitty, much smugness here as ours is done and wrapped.

Morning everyone! It's mild and calm here on the south coast. We still have lots of flowers in the garden despite a frost or two over recent weeks.

It's our second choir concert tonight - the big one with all tickets sold. The proceeds are in aid of a local charity for nursing children with life-limiting illnesses at home. My voice had gone over the weekend but seems to be back with a slight husky note! A good gargle might be the order of the day!

Wednesday coffee meet up followed by a Christmas lunch.

Good morning all. Another grey and miserable looking day. I managed to get the Christmas tree up and decorated yesterday and the cards are now all written.
Today I am off to watch step DGS in his nursery play, no doubt it will bring a tear to my eye.
DD2 has a Midwife appointment at lunchtime, her blood pressure was up last time, so I am hoping all is well. Baby is due in five weeks and she had pre-eclampsia in her first pregnancy.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dry and calm in South Yorkshire. A horrible sleepless night has left me like a limp rag. Visit the dentist Take Two this morning - I got the date wrong yesterday! Then if I can stay awake, I may visit my niece this afternoon. Have a good day, folks.

DGS ( nearly 2. )coming in about an hour or so and staying until tomorrow afternoon. Who knows where the day will take us !

Good morning all. It's driech here in the west of Scotland. Daylight is on its way. Have had alert from electricity supplier that a bad storm will arrive this afternoon and into tomorrow. There could be disruption to electricity. It's 8c here just now. Enjoy your day folks.

Good morning, 9 degrees here in the north east. Quiet day for me because my joints are sore from the shopping trip yesterday.
DH out this afternoon, I will dress the Christmas tree.

Cloudy - but not grey - here on the Welsh border. Off to take OH to hospital appt., then lots of music learning - my singers are coming tonight.

Very grey and seems to be getting darker here in East Sussex, quite mild though and waiting for the onslaught of storm Caroline. Christmas cards to write and last of the presents to wrap, done early as we're on alert for a mad dash to look after DGD just in case GC number 4 arrives early, due in three weeks.
