Good morning Michael, glad you enjoyed your trip.
It's too dark to see what the weather is like here, but last night it was very icy.
Unusually we have DGD this morning, which means my children will descend on us, looking for lunch, but more importantly play with DGD.
I will need to get some Chelsea buns in the oven.
Enjoy your day all.

Morning Mick and All.

So pleased your T and T was such a success Mick and that you have made a new friend.

Just returned from helping look after a sick, but improving, GS and his very energetic brother. We are on our knees with tiredness but neither GS wanted us to leave so a Result!

Have a good day folks.

Morning all. Still icy here in Staffs. It was treacherous here yesterday, should be getting milder over weekend. Finally feel as if flu is beginning to GO! Not feeling hungry but not icky either so hopefully will be able to eat better today. Feel as if I'm rejoining human race.

Morning all from a cold North Leicestershire. I think I heard that the temperature next week might reach 14 degrees.

I'm glad you had a good time, Mick and I hope you took contact details of your new friend! Keep us posted.

Kate - that is a result!

We have 2 dgc tonight as their parents are going out with their nct friends.

Good morning all about 15C in my living room . Very dark and according to AccuWeather it will start to snow in 10 minutes. Much baking and cake decorating to be done today. Ah heating coming through now.

Morning everyone! Cold with a bit of frost here on the south coast but it's supposed to start warming up later. Glad the trip went well Mick - enjoyed your little hints about a new "friend" tchwink

The apple cake turned out really well yesterday (thanks for the recipe Baggs!). Just a big pile of mince pies to make to take to DS's next weekend and my Christmas baking is done. The C. cake awaits it's icing but that will be a quick job.

I am definitely going to start wrapping presents (if I can find where I've hidden some of them) today then it's Strictly tonight. Come on Joe!

Enjoy your Saturdays folks! sunshine

Good morning from an icy north east. Hope I don't need to go shopping today, hate the mania at this time of year.

Good morning Michael and all GNs. Good to have you back, Mick. Glad Yorkshire didn’t disappoint you and that you had a good time!
It’s dry and clear in the South of our county today. We are expecting GS at some stage for an overnight stay. We are supposed to be putting a gingerbread house together, so that will be fun hmm! Have a good day, folks.

Good morning from a bright frosty Colchester. Visiting MIL in hospital this afternoon and a drink or two in town this evening celebrating a December birthday.

Good morning all. I was amazed to open the curtains of a white garden. A fine layer of frozen snow and the car needs de-icing yet again. Baking to do today and then the final of Strictly.
