Yes I'm still up and sharing bottle of wine with my dear husband. I know it's nearly 3 but been working all day and he organised party at sports club for lot of people, did the fireworks display, organised the bar and now it's our time, as I was driver I'm enjoying wine but I've just noticed he's fast asleep! Oh well, happy new year everyone

Morning All and a very Happy New Year to Everyone.

Three o'clock? Three thirty? Such stamina Maggie and Wilma! I was in bed before the end of Graham Norton despite all the fireworks outside. (Couldn't see them anyway- half a mile away. Didn't want to go out, it was raining) I feel a complete stick in the mud!

There's a wonderful full moon outside now so hopefully it'll be a lovely day for a New Year walk on the beach. Gets quite crowded with people with picnics and bucks fizz. Love it.

Sorry Wilma - I just read the Viral infection thread and realised you weren't out partying to the small hours! Hope you feel better soon!

Happy New Year to one and all.

Northumberland is dry but cloudy and fairly bright, with fleeting glimpses of the sun. Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for dinner today, just the three of us again.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Happy New Year.
Dry and not too dull in N.Bucks.
Only just up after being with friends until 3.30 am. Just dinner and chatting.
Nothing much planned for today.
