Good morning Mick and all those who follow.
Awful weather here this morning.
We have two year old DGD today, will have to find ways to amuse her, as weather is so miserable.
I nevr slept due to pain in my hands, it's going to be a very long day!
Have a good day all.

Morning Mick Mary and All.

Too dark to see the weather but cloud and sunshine forecast.

Hope you get through today ok Mary and your poor hands improve.

Off to Disraeli’s house, Hughenden, to see the last day of their Christmas display and have lunch.

Good Morning Mick, Mary and everyone from a south coast recovering from a mega-storm overnight. I think the howling wind sounded much worse because it was dark! Not sure giving winter storms a name is much use - who thought that was a good idea and why?

Choir re-starts tonight and we will be working on new items as we head towards our next concert in May. Our MD asked me if I would sing a solo next time but I can't think why!

Hope the day is a good one for all GNs sunshine

Good Morning Mick and everyone.

Too dark to see what weather is, if we had the storm I wouldn't have heard it as I take my bionic ears out at night smile

It is Mums birthday today, she is 88! So taking her out to lunch with my Brother and his wife, then a little tootle round a garden centre. Hopeful weather will be more settled by then

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.

North Leicestershire is windy but I think the rain has stopped!!

We had 2 Dgd over night (but they are the quiet type who read a lot!) DH is about to go and collect Bertie and Persie to add to the mix. shock As we are both still suffering from the post viral tiredness, reinforcements would be welcome!

Enjoy your day Kate, Mary, I hope you make it to the other end of the day! gaga, that's an honour, I am in awe of people who can do sing.

Good morning from a wild and windy Somerset.
A disturbed night, lying awake from 4 till about 5 was not helped by our private Storm (hurricane) DGD(3) shouting the odds first thing.
“When she is good, she is very very good
But she has clearly learned the rest of the rhyme!”
Driving over to Shaftesbury on my way home to visit a friend I have known since our days in London 30+ years ago and who also lost her H a few weeks before Christmas.
Taking flowers and wine - I think the latter may come in useful hmm
Home tomorrow to collect my lovely Hattie , I hope she hasn’t given up on me.

Morning everyone.

Still very windy in Kent but the rain has stopped.
I'm still in bed but I've just heard H going out for his walk to the paper shop. I think he might change his route. Not the day for a walk along the prom !

Good morning from a grey, windy Colchester. Disturbed a couple of times by heavy storm bursts overnight.
Wednesday coffee morning in town to which all local ladies are invited...wonder how many will brave the breeze!

Morning All from a very wet, windy and sea front flooded corner of Somerset. Storms eh? Just one little one to entertain today so a fairly easy craft focused day. Wishing everyone a flood free and trouble free day.

Good morning from a windy N. Bucks. At least it is dry.
A few jobs this morning and a couple of letters to write. Will accompany Dd3 to DGS hospital appointment this afternoon as SIL is away working. Should be fine, just a follow up but like all hospitals , parking is a nightmare. So ,if needed I can park hole she gets to the appointment on time.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. We are in for a very breezy day in South Yorkshire; it has been blowing hard all night. An unsettled night for me, with the wind and anxieties about my grandson’s health. Not a good start to the year. Have a good day, folks.

harrigran Wed 03-Jan-18 09:17:06

Good morning, very windy here but I think we missed the worst of the rain.
I have a CT scan this evening so hope my back pain eases a little and I can lie flat for the duration.

oh làlàstrong gales here, neighbour's chimney is about to fall off, and we had no electricity until right now- had to spend morning securing stuff in garden - so hope the beehive won't be blown off the table- we have put 2 heavy pots against it.

Not going out to the shops in France - broken trees and flying debris all over the place.
