Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but cold and dry this morning here in Brackley , up to early laundrette this morning prior to Breakie.
Despite having lost the weight , thanks to the bug at Xmas , hopefully I can keep it low so when I have my birth date blood test and see Nurse after diabetes wise.
Its still low, also reducing beer consumption as helped.
Mick

Good Morning Mick and all other early birds! It's dry and milder here on the south coast and supposed to be a reasonable day.

Our recovery from the lurgy continues and I have even managed to make a list of chores which need to be done. Whether they will be is another matter.

Hope the day is a good one for everyone. sunshine

Morning all.
Damp and 0 degrees here.
I hope all the lurgy sufferers are improving.
BIL still desperately ill and being moved to another hospital today. A longer journey for us, but easier to park.
Gas engineer coming this morning, so up early, just in case.
We also need some shopping, as we have spent all our time running back and forward to the hospital. As I couldn't find time to wash my hair, look like a scarecrow, so off to do that.
All in all a very quiet weekend.
Enjoy your Saturday all.

Morning Mick, morning gaga, morning all.

It's not cold and it's not raining in North Leicestershire.

I would be enjoying being back into routine if I didn't have the lurgy which means I'm jiggered by the afternoon.

This morning I will take a gentle stroll to the florist's and a quick trip to Waitrose for all the things my fuddled brain made me forget when I did my main shop.

gaga, I have a list! grin

Morning All. Pitch black outside so no idea what it’s doing. Being driven to a long planned extended family get together today. I’m promised a plastic bag for my head. How kind hmm. As long as they don’t expect sense all will be well. So sorry marydoll, have been in a similar situation, the travelling and worry are exhausting. Get well wishes to all poorly people, stay well everyone else.

Morning Mick Kitty and All.

Haven't peeked out of the window yet.

Sorry to hear you have the lurgy again Kitty.

Off to our new Butchers come Pub recently opened in the town. I want to try and buy some bacon that doesn't leak white watery stuff or taste odd.

Have a good Saturday folks.

Morning All

Still, dark and no sign of stars outside, so I assume it's a bit misty. Yesterday cleared into a lovely sunny day, so hopefully today will too. And a cold blast is forecast. We need some sun to raise the spirits and a bit of cold to drive away the bugs!

I saw the knee consultant (well, his registrar) yesterday and I'm on the list for a second new knee! Sometime. 18 weeks has gone out of the window for now but probably around May/June time. Hopefully. At least there won't be the threat of flu then. I'm now in the 'what have I done' state of mind!

Dear everybody, cold and damp here in East London. Best wishes to all of you with sick relatives.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A flat grey start to the day in South Yorkshire, and cold. Not expected to improve markedly. DS was here for the football last night and stayed over. It made a nice change for us to have the chance of spending some proper time with him. Not sure what today will bring - not a lot, I hope! Enjoy your Saturday, one and all.

Good morning, another grey day but well above freezing.. No plans, trying to stay away from crowds and places where lurgy may be lurking.

Good morning from a brightening Colchester. Not too grey and dry but chilly.
Hoping we may start on cleaning our bedroom ready to get decorating, just need to get up the oomph to begin!

Morning from a dull, grey West Norfolk. A dose of sunshine would be much appreciated if anyone can arrange that please?

NannyJan53 Sat 13-Jan-18 09:33:29

Good Morning from another equally dull and grey West Midlands!

Nothing planned for this weekend, we may go out for a meal tonight as I have a voucher for a local hostelry for 33% off food smile. Partner came home from work yesterday with the beginnings of this dreadful lurgy, he is still asleep, so yet to see how he is feeling.

Thinking of you and your family marydoll flowers

Have a good weekend all.

Good morning. N. Bucks is dry and dull but not too cold.
I have the sniffles, hope it doesn’t become more.
Off to a felting workshop today although feeling tired. Spent until 3 this morning at the hospital with our neighbour whose husband sadly died last evening.
