Good Morning Mick and everyone. Not sure what the weather is doing just now but we are forecast more of the wet stuff. I shall be glad to see the back of this wet and gloomy January. It is milder though.

WI coffee morning today and I need to pick up a library book I ordered. Still haven't seen to the freezer. Maybe tomorrow. hmm

Hope the day is a good one for all GNs. sunshine

Good morning
Pitch black here in N Bucks and I have no idea yet what the weather is. As I have no commitments I may well have an indoor day probably working on Paw’s study if the rain comes. If not, I want to try to clear the patio of all the moss the birds have dropped and treat it with an algae remover.

Good morning everyone.
Still dark so not looked outside yet. Craft group this morning. Coffee with friends this afternoon and childminding tonight. That should keep me busy today.

Early evening here, blue skies, sunshine and hot as Hell. I do sometimes, but only for a short time, envy your rain and colder weather. Had to go out earlier and have done nothing before or after, apart from lie in front of the fan and feed my face ? Hubby had found, and bought, some gorgeous, tiny vanilla French fancies. It would have been the height of rudeness to refuse them with my tea. Would suit me better to get stuck into some housework but then sanity returns. I’m cooking tonight so must keep up my strength

Good morning. I'm not happy with the Lancashire weather, it's wet and cold. You all seem busy. I am going out for lunch with WI, might do the ironing this morning.
Have a good day all.

Good morning, this is my second attempt at posting, the iPad is always shutting down, it's annoying. The Lancashire weather is cold and wet. You all seem busy, I am looking forward to going out for lunch with WI.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning Mick and All.

Looks dark and damp in S Bucks this morning.

Going out with two WI friends today to a pub that purports to be the oldest pub in the country. It’s all beams and uneven floors, atmospheric and could be a bit spooky ?

kittylester Tue 23-Jan-18 07:29:15

Morning all!

It's wet but warmish in North Leicestershire. I have nothing pressing to do but might sort some more of mum's box of stuff. It's only been on rhe dining room floor for 11 months. blush

Enjoy your days everyone and watch out for beams Kate!

I am meeting one of my best friends at a town 30 miles away for a wander around the shops and lunch out. She is like a sister.

Morning Mick and all. Grey and wet here in west Norfolk. No longe waiting for a tree expert, seems we just need to cut to cut the thing down ourselves. Well, that’s a job for OH - I’ll hold his coat. Otherwise, plans for today are all a bit vague, nevermind. Have fun!

Good morning from rainy Essex. On a train into London to do some Market Research (top secret but I was recruited through Gransnet insight)
Then a bit of shopping "up West " with DD1.

Marydoll Tue 23-Jan-18 08:24:18

Good morning Mick and all.
Torrential rain here in Glasgow, but at least the snow is gone.
Recuperating after a day of hospital visits and childminding yesterday.
We took DGD to visit BIL in hospital as a surprise. It gave him such a boost when he saw her, as he dotes on her.
Off to hairdressers and of course I won't get park and will looked like a drowned rat by the time I get home.
Have a good day all .

Good morning. No idea what the weather is doing at the moment as we are having breakfast at Heathrow whilst waiting for our flight.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Anniebach Tue 23-Jan-18 08:41:24

Good morning all, no idea what weather is like, still in bed!

Greyduster Tue 23-Jan-18 08:47:53

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The rain was coming down in stair rods at six o’clock this morning, but it has dried up now. I don’t think we shall be going far today though. DH is making his signature dish today - baked bean soup! It is much better than it sounds grin. Have a good one, folks.

Tippy22 Tue 23-Jan-18 08:58:37

Good morning everyone. Very wet and grey here in East Sussex. Time to tidy my drawers (IYSWIM). Have a good day everyone.

GrannyEggy1 Tue 23-Jan-18 09:01:25

Good morning, may I come in? Grey and grizzly here in London, have been swimming and now sitting having a cup of tea and wondering if DH would notice if I didn't move from comfy chair all day.wink

harrigran Tue 23-Jan-18 09:06:59

Good morning, gales and 8 degrees this morning. Hope the wind eases as my sister is flying into Heathrow before flying north.
I should take advantage of the milder weather and do a supermarket shop.

Mapleleaf Tue 23-Jan-18 10:15:51

Good morning,
Another dismal looking day, but a bit milder. Didn't hear the rain this morning, greyduster, so I'll take your word for it! ?. Looks as if we could get more, though.
I really must motivate myself to get on and do something, I feel really lethargic at the moment. I think it's this continual grey weather...
Those of you out and about, have a lovely time.
