Good Morning Mick and everyone! I think it's dry here on the south coast. We had a frost yesterday morning but hopefully not today.

Nothing much planned for today. I still need to tackle the blooming freezer. Hey ho!

Have a good day all! sunshine

Baggs Sat 27-Jan-18 06:44:42

Morning all! A bunch of teenagers is going to take over our sitting room this afternoon and evening. I'm just getting my thinking cap on about the pizza supply—buy it or make it? Maybe both.

Good morning all. It is chilly at the moment but there’s a watery-looking sun trying to come out so maybe it will cheer up.

Going out with DD3 later which will be lovely.

Hope you all have a good day sunshine

Good morning all, heavy rain here in Glasgow.
Having an easy day, catching up on everything after my visit to Edinburgh yesterday.
I'm on a mission to fin an old fashioned tin opener. Does no one sell them anymore?
Enjoy your Saturday everyone.

cornergran Sat 27-Jan-18 07:48:08

Morning All. It’s raining in our corner of Somerset. Very heavy cloud, no sign of yesterday’s blue sky. Not at all sure how we’ll entertain our visitors today. Another one needing a thinking cap, trouble is my head doesn’t think hmm. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.

Good morning. It was sunny yesterday but I don't think today will be the same.
Quiet day then going to a friends house for dinner, looking forward to that.
Enjoy the teenagers Baggs, they'll eat you out of house and home smile.
Have a good day everyone.

Marydoll, old fashion tin openers try places such as old fashion haberdashery shops, I think some supermarket chains may have them such as Waitrose, Sainsburys in there non food areas.

Morning all.

It's not cold and it's not raining in North Leicestershire!

We have Bertie and Persie for this afternoon and night and we are making pizzas too - well topping them at least.

Enjoy your Saturdays everyone.

harrigran Sat 27-Jan-18 08:03:17

Good morning, overcast and very dull but not cold.
Need to get moving as DS and GD will be here in an hour or two, thankfully my back has eased for the fist time since the middle of December.

Marydoll Sat 27-Jan-18 08:03:24

Thanks Mick, but would you believe that neither our local Morrisons nor Asda had any? All I was offered was an electric one.
I'm off to an ironmongers I know of.

TwiceAsNice Sat 27-Jan-18 08:11:18

Morning All. The sun is coming through in Surrey. Just having a cup of tea in bed and then will walk to get the papers. Family coming for brunch and then going with daughters to Aldi for a browse and a shop. Marydoll I have previously got a tin opener in Asda ( you must be unlucky) also in Tesco and IKEA. However independent ironmongers very good idea. Have a nice day everyone.

Morning MickKitty and All you good folk.

Think I will persuade DH to come out for a walk and coffee at our local NT place. There are acres of woods and gardens to explore, I never get bored going there even though we must visit at least 20+ times a year. They have a beautiful Oriental Garden there and if we are lucky we see a crane fishing in one of the ponds.

Have a good day folks.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A dull old day in South Yorkshire today - what a change from yesterday! A strenuous day’s walking yesterday led to me having a good night’s sleep for a change. DH is off to football this afternoon, so I am making a curry. Have a happy day, folks.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. The frost is melting and it's going to warm up and turn wet this afternoon.
Joining in a Walking Netball demonstration at the opening of the new Sports Centre at the University of Essex this morning.

Morning all. It's dry here and I am just about to nip down to the supermarket to put petrol in the car and buy a nice bouquet and card for an old friend who is celebrating a special anniversary today to do with her work. Then I have to drive to the chemist to pick up my repeat prescription. I have just hung a load of washing on the clothes horse in the kitchen. I loaded the machine at 5am as I couldn't sleep, again. I have also had prunes for breakfast as I have been feeling a bit constipated this week! Too much information? grin I enjoyed them. Went well with yoghurt. Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning All.

Its raining here but the temperature is 6C at present with a possibilty of 11C late in the day clouds permitting.

What a change after yesterdays lovely sunshine. Not much gardening will get done today.

Anniebach Sat 27-Jan-18 09:13:58

Good morning all. Forecast is rain today, we had sunshine yesterday , wonderful, the sunshine not the forecast of rain.

appygran Sat 27-Jan-18 09:43:03

Good morning. Dull here. Nothing planned for today. I will put on my walking boots after my second cup of coffee and take a walk. I am lucky in that although I live in the suburbs just a miles walk along the route of an old railway track, now a cycle path, and I am in open countryside.

Mapleleaf Sat 27-Jan-18 09:55:48

Good morning, everyone.
As many of you have said already, it’s a grey, cloudy morning - such a contrast to yesterday.
Off to a pantomime this afternoon. Looking forward to a giggle ?.
Hope your Saturday is a good one.

NannyJan53 Sat 27-Jan-18 10:21:37

Good Morning all

Damp and grey here, not very inspiring to want to go out!

Nothing planned here for today, may have a walk into town for a few bits and bobs!

marydoll you can also try Wilkinsons for an old fashioned tin opener if you have a branch near you, as I am sure I saw them on sale there recently.

appygran we have a old railway track which is now a walk and cycling path near us. An hours walk brings us to where Mum lives as her garden backs onto it! And she very handily has a gate, so we can pop in for a cuppa then walk back! smile

Have a lovely weekend everyone.
