Taking DH's car to the garage. It has a few niggles including a panel that keeps popping out My car needs a clean too.

Good Morning Mick Kitty and Mary and all who follow. It's mild and dry here on the south coast but the forecast is for frost tonight. My poor plants don't know where they are!

My car needs a clean inside (and out) too Kitty but I am trying to hang on until its imminent service as they do a brilliant valet clean too.

Morning everyone, Dark and cold here. DGC to school then off for a blood test .Hbaic and cholesterol. How can I lower these in 2 hours?

Good morning from Malta. It’s cloudy at present but may brighten up later.

I’m going to my friend’s this morning to print off some papers. My printer doesn’t work, so she is kindly helping me out. Also need to take Buzz for his kennel cough vaccine, it is required for him to go into kennels next month.

Later, visiting another friend in hospital. She is making slow progress after breaking her hip eight weeks ago. It is very boring for her as she can hardly see, is quite deaf and can only move about when the physio’s come to help her.

Does anyone else think the weeks fly too quickly? Can’t believe we are at the end of January already.

Good morning everybody. There are some beautiful salmon pink “Simpson’s” type clouds on a blue background. What a pity that probably indicates more rain (“red sky in the morning...”) but it is good to see daylight here in N Bucks.
My car came back from its service washed and beautifully hoovered out - at over £600 I should think so! I usually go to the “East European” car wash where for about £10 or 12 I can get the same while I wait. Best tenner you ever spent!

Such an exciting day ahead: trying to track down a plumber (the words ‘rare’ and ‘hens teeth’ come to mind), books to the library, a few things from the supermarket, washing into the machine...I need an adventure or two!

Not a day for OH to finish clearing out the compost heap.
