Morning Mick, morning all.

It's very, very cold in North Leicestershire with snow on the velux.

Not going out today but I will do the ironing to help keep warm.

JaneD3 Tue 06-Feb-18 07:17:47

Morning Mick and Kitty! Up early in the hope that British Gas come to service the boiler - they dipped out last time 10 minutes before the end of their slot! We have snow in Leicester and it is still coming.

harrigran Tue 06-Feb-18 07:17:55

Good morning, very cold but dry and none of the expected snow.
I am having my last meal before starting prep for procedure tomorrow, shall be spending today in the bedroom and en suite.

Marydoll Tue 06-Feb-18 07:25:40

Good morning Mick and all who follow.
It's -3 here, but feels even colder. There was snow, when I went to bed last night . Thankfully it has disappeared.
Off to town to look for birthday presents and pick up Mr MD's new suit, which was being altered. In 60+ years, he never knew he had one leg shorter than the other!
Harrigan, hope today isn't too unpleasant for you.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Nor going to get much above freezing here today. Waiting for deliveries today.

NanKate Tue 06-Feb-18 07:54:30

Morning. Mick Kitty and All.

Cold and grey here in Bucks.

WI day. We have someone coming to talk to us from the local Women’s Aid (women and their children who have escaped from abusive relationships). It is bound to be very upsetting but necessary for us to know more about and support the group. I am giving the Vote of Thanks so have been looking up about when the first Refuge was started by Erin Pizzey in 1971.

Hope you cope today Harrigran keep warm and no doubt you will have your IPad to hand to keep you occupied.

Morning Mick and all

Light snow here. Feels too cold to go anywhere so I might be forced to do the ironing too. Or some baking. Or spend time looking into the family history. Or all three...

Keep warm everyone.

Nelliemoser Tue 06-Feb-18 08:07:15

Good Morning All . Cold here in Cheshire but no snow yet despite what AccuWeather said about it ending 40 minutes ago. Time to get going.

Gagagran Tue 06-Feb-18 08:12:49

Morning everyone! It's cold and bright and dry here on the south coast.

Late up today after a poor night. This cold weather is making my joints ache so it's difficult to get comfortable in bed.

Hope the day is a good one for all GNs sunshine

ginny Tue 06-Feb-18 08:15:08

Good morning.
Cold, cold , cold in N. Bucks.
Bit of a shock to the system after 30 + c.
Food shopping, lunch with friends, project to prepare and Flower club this evening.
Have a good day all .

Tippy22 Tue 06-Feb-18 08:15:17

Good morning everyone. Very chilly start here in East Sussex. More and more of my family seem to have problems to make me worry about. Do we ever stop. Enjoy your day everyone.

cornergran Tue 06-Feb-18 08:16:15

Morning All. Clear and cold in our corner of Somerset. No snow, hope it stays like that as on Granny detail later. Wishing you well for today harri and indeed for tomorrow. The things we do eh? Stay warm and well everyone, careful in the ice and snow.

MawBroon Tue 06-Feb-18 08:16:36

Good morning all from a grey and cold looking corner of N Bucks. Brrr!
I say cold “looking” as I am still under the duvet in the company of a large mug of tea! Hattie sampled “out” while I put the kettle on and was back in within a couple of minutes ❄️?

Alygran Tue 06-Feb-18 08:19:19

Morning everyone. Snowing here in North Yorkshire. Bit of ironing to do but a planned walk is definitely off. Stay warm!

ginny Tue 06-Feb-18 08:22:13

Morning All

It's snowing! It just started and is even laying a little bit. DGS will be overjoyed, he's been waiting for snow all winter. It keeps approaching Norfolk but never getting here. I think we're acquiring a Mediterranean climate.

Nothing planned for today but I may walk into town later just for the hell of it.

Greyduster Tue 06-Feb-18 08:25:13

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It is sunny in South Yorkshire but very cold. None of the forecast snow yet, though. We are hopefully off to watch GS run in the final of the South Yorkshire Schools cross country this afternoon, weather permitting, so we hope it does. I had a better night so feel a bit more human this morning. Not in a hurry to get up yet, though! Have a good day, folks.

Anniebach Tue 06-Feb-18 08:49:16

Good morning all. Doubt is snow here, when I went to bed last night the temperature was very low, it really was freezing .

appygran Tue 06-Feb-18 09:02:13

Good morning all. Dry and cold in Chester, no sign of snow yet which is good news because grandma is on standby for school closure. Have a good day everyone.

Greyduster Tue 06-Feb-18 09:02:28

Morning, Annie! Stay warm.

Mapleleaf Tue 06-Feb-18 09:04:37

Good morning everyone.
Very cold, with a light covering of snow in this bit of South Yorkshire. Sun was showing briefly, but has disappeared again and the sky is looking very grey again.
Slept a lot better last night than the night before, so feel better. Just couldn't settle for some reason that night. Can't think why, wasn't worrying about anything!
Well, whatever your plans for the day, keep warm. ?

Bellasnana Tue 06-Feb-18 09:14:47

Good morning from a drizzly, dull Malta. It often starts off like this then brightens up. The expected high is 17C but it doesn’t feel very warm at present.

harrgran, I wish you luck with the Moviprep, although I know you have had a lot of practice. Hope all goes well.flowers

Tippy, no we don’t ever stop worrying do we. I’m fretting over various family members too so you have my sympathy and a big (((hug))) if that will help.

I’m meeting a friend for lunch. I don’t normally eat lunch so I’m fretting over that as well. Then the usual hospital visit to my friend who is in need of support just now. I’m shattered by the end of the day, but at least I sleep well.

Hope you all have a good day sunshine

Bellasnana Tue 06-Feb-18 09:16:09

Sorry harrigran, I missed out an ‘i’ blush

Nana3 Tue 06-Feb-18 09:42:33

Good morning. Snow in Lancashire, it's very fine stuff more like sleet.
Best wishes harrigran.
Have a good day everyone.
